This document summarizes major flooding events from January 16-21, 2012 in Benton County, Oregon. On January 18th, flooding began in the Lancaster/Conifer area of northeast Corvallis. On the 19th, a landslide occurred on Rosewood Drive and the city/county emergency coordination center was activated. The Marys River crested at a new historical high of 21.9 feet on the 19th. Throughout the flooding, numerous roads were closed due to high water or landslides and voluntary evacuations continued.
