This document contains summaries of various arts workshops held across regional and remote areas of Australia in 2012 by the Flying Arts Alliance.
The summaries describe workshops on topics such as artists working cooperatively, mosaic making, photography, botanical drawing, and landscape sculpture. The workshops engaged a variety of participants from children to adults and were held in locations from Chinchilla to Normanton to Collinsville.
The workshops aimed to provide creative development opportunities and support local artists in rural communities. Participants gained new skills and created works of art, while workshops also explored how the arts can be incorporated into community life. Facilitators observed enthusiastic engagement from participants in the interactive and hands-on workshops.
