provide their opinion. Cases will focus on use of medications to address dyslipidemia in
diabetes (to include addressing abnormal liver enzyme tests), early recognition and
treatment of chronic renal disease in diabetes to include adjustment of medication dose,
resistant hypertension and depression in diabetes

The Florida Academy of Family Physicians is accredited by the Florida Medical
Association to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The Florida
Academy of Family Physicians designates this educational activity for a
maximum of six (6) AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsβ’. Physicians should claim
credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is
pending. NOTE: CME activities receiving the AAFP evidence-based CME (EB CME) designation will earn double
