A class of Ball State University students created a documentary called "State of Assault" that explores two key challenges in handling sexual assault cases: meeting victims' needs after assaults and reducing DNA evidence backlogs. The documentary aims to help viewers better understand the problems faced by assault victims and future trends in case management. It will premiere on December 8th at the Ball State University Alumni Center and air on television to bring further awareness to these important issues.
