Three key areas:
1. Release cycles;
2. Data clean-up;
3. Process flows.
1. Release cycles:
Management of development release life cycle, from development through
testing and finally into production.
Also liaison between Project Office (comprising of 1 Project Manager and 5
Business Analysts) and Business relating to communication regarding
system releases.

2. Data clean-up:
Management of data clean-up project which comprises of:
• Once-off planning to resolve some 300,000 data errors, majority of
which were generated at time of new system take-on in 2005 and;
• Ongoing data clean-up of both online and batch errors.
This entails analysis of existing as-is processes and situation, then ramp up
(gap analysis) to the required to-be processes and final desired situation.
Also project management which includes among others, human resource
management, regular monitoring of project plan, regular monitoring and
maintenance of error resolution structure and error statistics.
Responsible for motivation of additional human resources by using
information at hand relating to the complexity of data errors and the
expected level of expertise required to resolve such errors in a given period
of time, in order to deliver the goods in a much shorter timeline.

Currently, excluding the required IT resources, there are 4 temporary staff
members and 3 permanent staff members employed full-time to clear up
the data errors. This total should increase considerably to meet the tight
deadline.
3. Process flows:
Initially responsible for documenting of all process flows relating to Project
Office. This includes the release cycles, data clean-up and relevant IT
related processes This will later also extend into the various business areas.
