2001- IPod -Apple announced in April 2007 that the 100 millionth iPod had been sold.
Apple claims the iPod is the fastest-selling music player in history.
2003 - ITunes Music Store - the concept was simple: sell songs in digital format for
less than a dollar and let buyers play them whenever and wherever they like-as long
as it was on an Apple iPod.
2004- Facebook- A social networking site that has more than 800 million active users.
It was created by Mark Zuckerburg and his college roommates.
2005- YouTube- The most popular and successful invention in the year 2005 was
YouTube. The website which achieved the greatest consumer response is a videohosting website that lets users share videos across the globe. The website is currently
one of the most famous websites in the world!
Technology from the 2000s influenced music due to the new technology that promoted it. The creation of YouTube was
a way to let the public view music and increase the popularity of songs. Facebook was also used to advertise as users
would promote song/artist through there statuses.
