This document summarizes the history and current use of learning management systems (LMS) at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). It discusses how UCPH transitioned from different local LMS in the 2000s to a common Canvas system in 2016. It also describes how data is imported into Canvas from administrative systems and highlights some common support issues teachers face regarding functionality between the Danish and American versions of Canvas. Overall, UCPH teachers are happy with Canvas but some flexibility and functionality issues still need addressing.
