1) Elijah had a personal encounter with God through a still small voice after experiencing a great wind, earthquake, and fire.
2) Elijah fell into despair after this encounter, feeling alone and wanting to give up.
3) God reassured Elijah that he was not alone and called him to continue his tasks of anointing new leaders.
This document contains a Bible quiz on Psalms 129-132 and John 1-3 with 20 multiple choice questions testing knowledge of specific verses and details. The questions cover topics such as afflictions of Israel, cries to God, waiting for the Lord with hope, remembering David's afflictions, Jesus turning water to wine at a marriage in Cana, his discussion that he will destroy and raise up the temple in three days, and the famous John 3:16 verse containing 25 words.
Every 2000 years, a new world teacher comes to bring dramatic changes. The document discusses various religious prophecies and world events from 2000 BCE to present that relate to this cycle. It outlines the spiritual and physical falls of man, God's providence of restoration through Abraham and his descendants, and the failure of Christianity. The establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth in 2013 is presented as fulfilling the whole purpose of human history and resolving conflicts like those in Israel/Palestine through the unification of religions.
This document discusses the importance of community and belonging for human growth and development. It notes that humans have an innate need to belong to groups for protection, security, and to discover identity. However, communities sometimes fail to reflect Christ-like love for one another. The story of Cain and Abel illustrates how relationships can go wrong when people harm one another. As Christians, we are called to build each other up through virtues like forgiveness and love to strengthen human communities.
This family of talented singers and musicians from Gospel Baptist Tabernacle will be leading worship on Sunday, February 12 at 6pm. All are invited to attend and worship; no special attire is required.
The document is a quiz about the Tabernacle and other topics from the Bible. It contains multiple choice and true/false questions about details of the Tabernacle and its furnishings, the role of sacrifices, and concepts like atonement, repentance, and God's judgment. It also quizzes on biblical figures like judges, kings like David and Solomon, and prophets. The questions cover topics like the temple Solomon built to replace the portable Tabernacle, and Jews in captivity introducing synagogues for study and worship.

This document contains a summary of chapters from the book "Stranger on the Road to Emmaus" including:
1) A comparison of Jacob and Esau, noting Jacob followed God through faith, sacrifice, and prayer while Esau did his own thing. God renewed his promise to Abraham and Isaac through Jacob.
2) Background on Moses including why the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, how God spoke to Moses from a burning bush after 40 years, and what God told Moses about helping the Israelites escape Egypt.
3) Details about the Passover and plagues in Egypt, including what God taught the Israelites and Egyptians, how God extends grace to those who come to Him, and the role
The document discusses the effectiveness of prayer through several biblical examples. It describes how Elijah's prayer for fire to consume a sacrifice was answered, while the prayers of false prophets to Baal went unanswered. Daniel is presented as a model of faithful prayer, continuing to pray regularly even when banned by the king. The document encourages praying with faith, believing that God will answer according to his will. It suggests prayer should include requests, but also adoration, confession, thanksgiving and praise.

The document describes Marco Lafebre's experience on Pentecost 2017, when he had a quiet visitation from the Spirit of God. It references Elijah's experience hearing a still small voice of God in 1 Kings 19:11-13. Lafebre felt God speaking clearly about two things he had been postponing and telling him it was time to join God in fulfilling his plans. Lafebre realized he needs to come out of his "cave" and follow God's direction, even when uncomfortable. God's words were like fire in his heart, and he is ready to keep God's fire burning inside.

It discusses how the High Priest was the supreme religious head who had to meet strict character and conduct standards. The sons of Eli, who were High Priests, did not follow God and abused their privileges, taking the best meat offerings by force, which greatly angered God.

By his faith and actions, Noah condemned the rest of the world but was declared righteous. The document discusses Noah's righteousness, obedience, and how his faith impacted his family's salvation. It also references other biblical figures like Joseph and David who faced persecution for standing up for righteousness.
The document summarizes the return of Jews from exile in Babylon to Judah. It describes how prophets like Ezekiel and Isaiah gave messages of hope during the exile. It also discusses the three stages of return - the first led by descendants of David to rebuild the nation and temple, the second by Nehemiah to rebuild the walls, and the third led by Ezra focusing on religious reform and fully submitting to God's law. The temple was rebuilt in 515 BC, marking the end of the first stage of return from exile.

The document discusses the concept of meekness. It defines meekness as balance between excessive anger and having no anger at all. It provides examples of meekness in historical figures like Moses and Jesus Christ. Moses prayed for the nation of Israel when they accused him and remained faithful to them for 40 years. Jesus ate with sinners, paid taxes he didn't owe, and prayed for forgiveness of those who crucified him. The document states that meekness is having one's flesh bridled through faith in Jesus Christ and his gospel work. It closes by referencing looking forward to a new heaven and new earth according to God's promise.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

I. A COMPANION PASSAGE
Abraham
Abraham’s faith caused him to:
Follow God to a Promised place
Worship God as a sojourner and stranger in the
earth and
Give to God his most treasured prize, his son
Isaac
3. z
I. A COMPANION PASSAGE
Rahab the harlot
Rahab’s faith led her to:
Hide the spies of Israel
Ask of them salvation and
Openly show the scarlet thread out her window

I. A COMPANION PASSAGE
To have received this Gospel grace and to leave it
Untapped,
Untried and
Unused
is vanity indeed.
5. z
II. A SECOND COMPANION PASSAGE
What a travesty to possess so great salvation and then
to neglect it.
To ignore the preaching of God’s Word
To backslide and rebel against it
To be a hearer of the Word and do nothing with
it.
This is to receive the grace of God in vain and it is, as
James puts it, dead.

As one who has accepted the call of God to
preach
As one who has embraced the ministry of
reconciliation
