This document discusses basic human aspirations and their fulfillment. It begins by outlining the content and process of the workshop/course, which aims to initiate an internal dialogue within participants. It then explores some fundamental human desires like happiness, prosperity, and the continuity of these states. It examines why there is often a gap between our desires and our current state. The document suggests that while physical facilities are necessary, human beings also require relationships to be fulfilled. It argues that the priority should be on developing right understanding, relationships, and physical facilities in that order. Living with an overemphasis on just physical facilities leads to an "animal consciousness" whereas properly developing all three aspects leads to "human consciousness" and fulfillment.
Ind 3 Basic Human Aspirations _ their Fulfilment v1 (4).pptTushar Chauhan
Right understanding, relationship, and physical facility are the three essential requirements for fulfilling basic human aspirations of happiness and prosperity. While physical facility is necessary, it is not adequate on its own for human fulfillment. Relationship is also necessary for humans in a way that it is not for animals. Currently, most time and effort is spent on physical facility rather than building relationships and developing right understanding. The UHV-I course aims to develop a holistic perspective to help fulfill basic human aspirations through cultivating harmony at the individual, family, social, and environmental levels.

1) The document discusses the basic human aspirations of happiness and prosperity and what is required to fulfill them.
2) It argues that while physical facility is necessary, it is not adequate for human fulfillment. Relationship and right understanding are also essential.
3) Relationship and right understanding should be prioritized over physical facility. The current state for many is a lack of relationship and understanding, resulting in unhappiness, but the desirable state is living in harmony with a focus on all three elements.

Right understanding, relationship, and physical facility are the three essential requirements for fulfilling basic human aspirations of happiness and prosperity. While physical facility is necessary, it is not adequate on its own for human fulfillment. Relationship is also necessary for humans in a way that it is not for animals. However, many people's current efforts focus primarily on physical facility accumulation and do not sufficiently address building right understanding and relationships. The UHV-I course aims to develop a holistic perspective across individual, family, society and nature to help people live in harmony and fulfillment across all aspects of life.
This document discusses the concepts of basic human aspiration, holistic development, and the role of education. It notes that AICTE has taken steps to address the crucial missing link of human values in education. The document outlines that the workshop/course will cover the content, process, and expected achievements of gaining a right understanding of universal human values. This includes exploring human desires versus current states of being, and the efforts being made to bridge that gap. It argues that while physical facility is necessary for humans, relationship and right understanding are also essential to fulfill basic human aspirations and achieve holistic development and a happy, prosperous society.

This document discusses the role of education in holistic development. It states that the role of education is to facilitate the development of competence to live with definite human conduct. It explores how for humans, physical facility is necessary but relationship is also necessary, unlike for animals where physical facility is both necessary and adequate. It argues that for fulfillment in relationships and continuity of happiness and prosperity, right understanding is important for humans in addition to physical needs.
The document discusses the role of education in facilitating human development and transformation. It argues that for human beings, physical facility, relationship, and right understanding are all necessary for happiness and prosperity. The role of education is to enable this transformation to "human consciousness" by developing the competence for "definite human conduct" - ensuring right understanding, the capacity for positive relationships, and skills for sustainable production of resources. The goal is holistic development moving from an "animal consciousness" focused only on physical needs to a "human consciousness" centered on mutual happiness through all three components.

The document discusses the human being as a co-existence of the self and the body. It defines the self as consciousness and the body as material. The needs of the self (happiness, respect) are continuous and fulfilled by activities of consciousness like right understanding and feelings. The needs of the body (food, shelter) are temporary physical facilities fulfilled by material things. It emphasizes understanding the separate nature and fulfillment of the needs of the self versus the body to avoid misunderstandings that can harm health and well-being.

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about the self, mind, body and happiness:
1. What is the relationship between the self, mind and body?
The self is the conscious entity. It has the power of desire, thought and expectation. The mind is the faculty of the self that engages in thinking, imagining, analyzing etc. The body is the physical instrument through which the self experiences and expresses itself. The self, mind and body interact and influence each other.
2. What causes happiness or unhappiness?
Happiness arises from a state of harmony within the self - when desires, thoughts and expectations are in alignment with one's natural acceptance. Unhappiness arises from a state of
The document discusses holistic health and its importance. It states that holistic health means wholeness and involves establishing balance across physical, mental, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions. A holistically healthy person has perfect integration and synchrony between their individual cells, overall physiology, and the cosmic intelligence that manages the universe. The document proposes using holistic healing sciences to awaken inner power in various groups like youth, women, children, humans, teachers, doctors, leaders, and workers through campaigns focused on aspects like body awareness, food, nurturing, skills development, and more to benefit society.
This document discusses self-exploration as a process for value education. It begins by introducing the workshop/course and explaining that self-exploration involves dialogue - first between the presenter and participants, but then becomes an internal dialogue within oneself. It describes the process of self-exploration as involving investigating what one is and what one naturally accepts, and seeing if these are in harmony or contradiction. When in harmony, one experiences happiness, and when in contradiction, unhappiness. The goal of self-exploration is living in harmony within and with others through understanding one's natural acceptance.
Process of Self-Exploration and self awareness.pptUttamDeshpande1
Self exploration is a process of discovering that there is something innate, invariant and universal in all human beings. This enables us to look at the confusions and contradictions within us and resolve them by becoming aware of our natural acceptance.
UHV 3D D2-S1B Und Human Being - Prosperity _ Health.pptPrahladGarg3
The document discusses the relationship between the self, body, and physical needs. It makes three key points:
1. The self is central to human existence, while the body acts as an instrument for the self. Physical needs and activities are meant to serve the nurturing, protection, and right utilization of the body.
2. True prosperity is having more physical resources than what is required to meet the body's needs. Identifying the actual required quantity is important to understand prosperity correctly.
3. Maintaining the health of the body requires proper intake, daily routine, exercise, postures, and treatment - all aimed at keeping the body's internal systems in harmony. The self must feel a sense of responsibility
The document discusses the co-existence of the self and body in a human being. It notes that the body is the material part and is tangible, while the self is the unit of consciousness. It states that the response and fulfillment of needs of the body are definite, while the response and fulfillment of needs of the self depends on how one assumes or understands reality - if based on knowing reality directly, then the response is definite, but if based on assuming without fully knowing reality, then the response is indefinite. The key point is that a human being is the co-existence of the material body and immaterial conscious self, and how one understands reality impacts the definiteness of their behavior and fulfillment of the self
This document discusses the concept of unity and coherence in paragraphs. It defines a paragraph with unity as one with a single main idea supported by details that directly relate to the topic sentence. The document provides an example of a paragraph that lacks unity and instructs the reader to identify sentences that stray from the main idea. It also discusses how the human body allows for experiences like love and forming relationships with others through embodiment. While the human body imposes some limitations, human intellect has allowed for transcending limitations through tools and technology.

The passage discusses the importance of teachers developing sound personalities of their own. It states that when children are at school, their teachers become substitutes for their parents. The children are influenced by the personalities of their teachers. This mutual relationship between teacher and student is more important than any teaching method. A child's ability to learn is hampered if this relationship is unsatisfactory. For teachers to truly help children develop into well-adjusted adults and not just impart knowledge, the teachers themselves must have well-developed personalities. No amount of good teaching or techniques can replace the influence of a teacher with a strong personality.

Living in the present does not mean being unaware or unconcerned about the past or future. It means:
- Fully engaging with whatever is happening in the present moment, without judgement.
- Learning from the past without regret, in order to understand co-existence and plan constructively for the future.
- Not getting stuck in past regrets or future fears, which prevent us from seeing the present clearly.

UHV II Lecture 20 - Mutual Fulfilment in Nature v3.pptRohitSen61
There are four orders of nature - physical, bio, animal, and human. Each order has units, activities, innate qualities, and inheritance. The four orders exist in a relationship of mutual fulfillment with each other.
The role of human beings is to understand this inherent harmony in nature and live accordingly. This means facilitating an environment that allows each order to naturally fulfill its activities, innate qualities, and inheritance, without violating them.
For the human order specifically, this involves facilitating care of the body through physical and social support systems, as well as ensuring human education and values that allow continuous happiness and fulfillment through participation in an undivided society.
This document discusses value education and the need for it. It makes the following key points:
1. Value education deals with issues that are universally important to human happiness, welfare, goals and success. It enables living in harmony with oneself, others and nature.
2. To fulfill aspirations, one must understand universal human values and how to actualize goals. Values and skills are complementary - values guide what is truly conducive to happiness while skills are needed to actualize goals.
3. Self-exploration is key to value education - through investigating oneself, one can understand what is truly valuable for achieving fulfillment and happiness. Physical needs, relationships, and right understanding are all necessary.
UHV II Lecture 22 - The Holistic Perception of Harmony in Existence v2.pptRohitSen61
The document discusses harmony in existence and the holistic perception of co-existence. It describes existence as consisting of units submerged in an all-pervading space, with each unit being limited in size but unlimited overall, energized in space, and self-organized. It recognizes that human beings need to understand co-existence at different levels - in oneself, in family, society, and nature - and live in harmony by fulfilling relationships at each level. Realizing co-existence through right understanding and feeling can lead to continuous happiness and fulfillment of the human goal through establishing a universal human order.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

How to Build a Module in Odoo 17 Using the Scaffold MethodCeline George
Odoo provides an option for creating a module by using a single line command. By using this command the user can make a whole structure of a module. It is very easy for a beginner to make a module. There is no need to make each file manually. This slide will show how to create a module using the scaffold method.
This presentation was provided by Steph Pollock of The American Psychological Association’s Journals Program, and Damita Snow, of The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), for the initial session of NISO's 2024 Training Series "DEIA in the Scholarly Landscape." Session One: 'Setting Expectations: a DEIA Primer,' was held June 6, 2024.

Process
Whatever is said is a Proposal (Do not assume it to be true or false)
Verify it on Your Own Right – on the basis of our Natural Acceptance
It is a process of Dialogue
A dialogue between me and you, to start with
It soon becomes a dialogue within your own self
between what you are and what you really want to be
(your natural acceptance)
The purpose of this workshop is to initiate this internal dialogue

Although we have Recognised the need for Relationship…
We do get into arguments, opposition and fights… even in the family,
with close friends, with colleagues at work… in the marketplace…
Every time we have a fight, we want to resolve it…
We say sorry, patch up and promise not to fight in future but…
Even though we don’t want to, a fight does take place once again
(we want the other to improve… and the other wants us to improve…)
Is this happening?
Are incidences of reaction… not speaking to the other… arguments…
debates… divorce… increasing or decreasing?
Explore your close relationships – in the family, with friends, in the
workplace, in the society
In spite of our acceptance for relationship, why is it happening?

Let’s check our Perspective about Relationship
Let us find out if
1. We want to live in relationship (harmony) with others or
2. We want to live in opposition with others or
3. We believe living has to be necessarily in opposition with others,
ie. There is 'struggle for survival' , ‘survival of the fittest’ and

Right Understanding is also Essential for Human Being
For fulfilment in relationship, it is necessary to have right understanding
about relationship
i.e. Right understanding is also necessary for human being

But Resources are Not the Problem!
…by the time you finish reading this
book (approx. 6 hrs) 400 people
would have died of hunger or
diseases caused by hunger…
Contrary to popular opinion,
malnutrition and starvation are not
the result of over-population, of poor
climate or lack of cultivatable land…
The other half is dying because the
first half is not rightly utilizing the
resources...
Hunger is not a scourge but a scandal
24. 34
Resources are already in Plenty!
Of the 4.2 billion tons of food produced, more than 1 billion tons of food is
lost or wasted every year, UN-backed report finds (11 May 2011)
About a third of all the food produced for human consumption each year – or
roughly 1.3 billion tons – is lost or wasted, according to a
new study commissioned by the United Nations Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO)
Global Food Production is 6 times requirement
Global Food Wastage is 1/3rd of production
Wastage is enough to feed 1300 crore people/year
Have we understood right utilisation?
Is it a question of production?
Is it a question of distribution?
Is it a question of relationship?
Is it a question of right understanding?
It is a question of education

Transformation (ladze.k) = Holistic Development (fodkl)

facility or development is ensuring of all 3?
Is this transformation desirable?
Are we making effort for it?
Do we need to make effort for it?
We will explore into the effort

26. 38
Role of Education-Sanskar: To Enable Transformation
Holistic development is transformation to Human Consciousness
The role of education-sanskar is to enable this transformation by way of
ensuring the development of the competence to live with human
consciousness and definite human conduct
For this, it has to ensure
1. Right understanding in every child
2. The capacity to live in relationship with the other human being
3. The capacity to identify the need of physical facility and the skills &
practice for sustainable production of more than what is required
leading to the feeling of prosperity

Missing
Identification of need of physical
facility is missing.
The willingness to produce by way
of labour is also missing.
The core feeling generated is
to accumulate more & more,
to consume more & more,

29. 41
Problems = Indication of Lack of Effort for Holistic Development
Most of the problems we see around us are really only the symptoms of
human beings not living with human consciousness
The basic effort is required to ensure human consciousness
(through human education)
Ultimately it will result in a human tradition,
in which the human goal is fulfilled for all,

good health √ √ √
Also find out how much time and effort you put in every day in these 3 areas
eg. right und relationship physical facility, body
work 10 hrs 1 hr (learning) 2 hrs (talking) 7 hrs (salary)
eating 2 hrs 2 hrs
sleeping 8 hrs 8 hrs
other activity 4 hrs 3 hrs (worship, TV) 1 hr (bath, gym etc.)

– relationship (right feeling)
– physical facility (money…)
eg. right und relationship physical facility, body
Money x (salary…)
But with a base of relationship & right understanding
Good friends x
But with a base of right understanding
Peace of mind x x (right feeling in oneself)
CONCLUSIONS:
The base of right understanding is required for any desire to be fulfilled. The
base of right feeling in relationship is required for any desire, where others
are involved. Physical facility is required for fulfilment of the needs of the body

Human Endeavour
Since time immemorial, human beings have been searching for answers
to two fundamental questions
1. What is the basic human desire (purpose)?
2. What is the program for its fulfillment?
so that they can live a fulfilling life
The answers to both these questions have been dependent on what we
think of:
Human being (what am I, who am I)
Nature/existence
43. 59
Effort for Fulfillment
Depending upon the understanding or assumption about
human being and nature/existence:
the desire, aspiration of human being is formulated and
a program for its fulfillment is worked out
The culture, civilisation
is characterized by this
understanding or assumption about
• Human being
• Nature/existence
• Basic human desire
• Program for fulfilment
Outcome
(fulfilment or lack of fulfilment)
44. 60

Current View
In today’s civilisation what do we think about
Human being?
Nature/existence?
Is human being just the body?
Is human being more than body?
Is physical facility alone sufficient for fulfillment of human being?
Of course physical facility is required; but is something more, over and
above physical facility, also required for fulfillment?
What is our effort for – accumulation of physical facility or something
more?
We will explore further into what is required for fulfillment of human
being – physical facility + something more…
