In 1896, he had a spontaneous spiritual experience that led him to leave home for Arunachala mountain, where he established an ashram and taught thousands of followers the path of self-inquiry. Sri Ramana Maharshi is considered an enlightened sage who renewed ancient spiritual teachings and emphasized questioning one's true self to realize the ultimate truth and be free from suffering.
Teaching is a complex process that is influenced by different classroom environments and resources. While an ideal classroom is not available everywhere, teachers can take some relatively easy steps to improve, such as providing feedback after each session, writing reflections to plan improvements, using student surveys as a diagnostic tool, and recording lessons for self-evaluation. Great teaching requires time, passion, high-quality materials, and tailored feedback to help teachers continuously grow.

Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

1. Mission Of Usman Public School System
Written By: Mehar Khan
25/2/2015
Systems are built to meet some goals and objectives. To fulfill the aim, it is imperative to
understand the requirement and significance of it to the society. Usman Public School
system was established in 1989. The main aim of the system is to develop real sense of
Islamic Society where Muslims should know how to lead and accelerate Islamic vision to
their lives. It is due to the fact that religion teaches one the way to set smart goals that
Islam fulfills it thoroughly. I believe up to a larger extent UPSS has achieved its goal for the
last 26 years. I would like to enlighten its mission which has been undermined behind its
establishment.
Firstly, it is simply quoted every time the sole purpose of UPSS is to generate leadership
skills to the students so that we can make young people Khalifa Tullah Ul Arz “Allah’s Caliph
to the Earth”. In order to fulfill Allah’s command, the system inculcates Islamic teaching
through different activities within the REAL LIFE situations at school. For instance,
assemblies are basically used for fostering Islamic norms among the toddlers so that they
could enlighten their mornings with its teaching.
Secondly, the significant role of UPSS is not only to develop people for achieving our
academic goals but also to develop them professionally. It is because the HEALTHY MINDED
SKILLED TEACHERS are made, not necessarily born. Some teachers may have innate ability
to cultivate students and make them learned people but it is frequently achieved if teachers
are trained to do it. As Quran says; “Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The
parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass,
the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e.
neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only
in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow
forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom
He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of
everything.”24:35. In the light of this verse, UPSS has provided us the path to look for the
guidance which is mandatory in either of the fields of lives.
The third and the main objective are to set Islamic Society which can create harmony in the
society. We can see it everywhere that our society is much imbued in a fuss and chaos
prevailed by media that has made people hollow-eyed from the perspective of losing social
and religious identities quite frequently. UPSS uses its assembly presentations to aware
people and save them from being a part of it. Let’s say, we objectify tableaux to stop the
acts of immodesty, which has made its room in out perceptions. We are so much engrossed
while saving our children from it.
In conclusion, we have, Alhamdolillah, achieved our goal and will be able to develop a
Muslim Society here in Pakistan. It is not a ONE MAN JOB but can be achieved as team as
ONE UMMAT. And the only guide, which we must follow, is the teaching of Quran and
Ahadith regardless of having proud on our individualities.
My Objective at the Time of Joining UPSS
In one’s life, objectives are those intrinsic or instrumental needs which we choose
to acquire. They are unlike motives which are set to get small plans.
2. In 2013 when I was in my final year of MA I had heard many times about UPSS;
the way they teach, counsel, develop and make people strong with the best of their
Emaan. But again having taken my exam I started enjoying long sleeps even after
offering Fajr. I wanted to feel the warmth of the bed that I got deprived of while
making assignments, studying, peeping into the libraries and browsing through
hundreds of the ancient to the latest books of linguistics. I got totally focused
towards writing my research on one of the topics on Language and Gender Studies.
Just imagine how much pleasure I had got when I lied on my couch after
accomplishing all this. I rested for a month and enjoyed them a lot. Finally I had
started applying at different private universities, colleges and a few schools. But my
charm to join UPSS again warmed me up to apply here.
One clumsy morning of winter, 16th
Jan’2014, I visited aunty at campus-1 and was
asked to take demo and finally interview. After passing through different processes
and interviews I finally joint campus-III as a coordinator.
My objective, initially, was very clear in my mind. I wanted to work at a place
where I get the way to live my life according to Quran and Sunnah and here I
came. I left one opportunity to work in a private university for the charm; I had
had, for joining UPSS.
But gradually my objective changed. When I joined the campus I made up my mind
not to only develop myself but also to develop every member of it, whoever has
been a part of it.
My Learning Areas At UPSS during the Year 2014
My very first and fresh year after leaving the university was totally spent in learning
a quite new field as a coordinator here. I had already told aunty about my little
indecisive feeling about working for the very first time as a coordinator. She was
the one who, firstly, trusted me and gave me the chance to opt for this job.
Being part a part of a team here at UPSS I got to know from every little to the giant
thing. I would like to put some light on the areas where I learned and developed
myself.
Firstly, when I had started sitting with Ms. Summaiya and Ms. Zenab in the
coordinator’s room where I noticed the friendlier talks which they used to make
with the teachers. I will not forget to mention the way that Ms. Summaiya taught
me to deal with the teachers and to cope better with their problems and issues.
Moreover, she also acknowledged me some policy matters. Ms. Zenab was the one
I got inspired by because of the way she looks at the things. Her positivity has
always dazzled my heart and appealed my soul to become a polite and gentle
speaker like her.
Secondly, I learnt one more thing from my seniors that sharing every matter with
the principal is the first duty of each employee here esp. when she is a coordinator.
However, I was little reluctant to convey everything to the principal at first. It was
not because I wanted to hide from her but it was because I thought it became
back-biting if I conveyed each matter to her. Hence, I used to avoid. But soon, I
learnt it does not prove to be an ill-talk about anyone but fruitful up to good extent.
At the beginning, I had noticed one teasing thing on the campus, the peers were
not open to each other; they used to have little trust over each other but, by times,
I noticed and learned that their behaviour towards different things got changed
when I started interacting with them in friendlier manner than before. Conducting
workshops also helped me develop rapport with them. They started meeting me
3. very often. I would like to mention the names who taught me to prepare for Dars
session. Miss. Tahira, Miss. Zenab and Ms.Shehla and Ms. Musarat have always
helped me finding books for dars sessions. Their love vitalized my soul and
gradually each of them has made a place in my heart.
The principal has inculcated her knowledge to develop me as a person as well as a
coordinator. She taught me many Duas, Ahadith about most situations. My thirst of
learning about Islam started getting contended. I started feeling so calm whenever
I have talk with her. It was my decision to sit with her so that we both would
understand each other. Alhamdolillah up to some extent I succeeded to develop my
understanding with her but still I am working on it.
Lastly but imperatively, I must mention that I have learnt from Mam Zubaida is
evaluation. It has been one of the most important learnings throughout. I learned
how the copies are evaluated, how syllabi, planning and notebooks are evaluated
accordingly. Furthermore, she taught me the skills of evaluating myself on my own
in accordance with a momin as well as a coordinator and how to lead as a team.
Learning through the Workshops
When I was given the chance to conduct workshop for the teachers, I was
consumed totally and pondered over it. My first workshop was about speaking skills
and I learned, after conducting it, that people are interested in speaking English but
they do not have the provision to carry on with their charm. Somehow, I felt,
locality is problem-some for most.
By my second workshop “Personality Development” I felt myself little more closer
to their heart when my friends embarked on their personality traits. They came so
clear heartedly with their own perceptions and beliefs about themselves. Some
were not happy with them but I tried my best to eradicate their own issues out of
them by giving them some psychological therapies right there.
The third workshop that I conducted was about “Befriending People”. The main aim
was to make them positively influencing people therefore Simulation was used as a
technique to engage them throughout the sessions. They acted out and performed
very well. I learned that people really enjoy when they are to act out or perform
and later, appreciated. I was excited when I saw their happy faces when they were
departing from the session cheerfully. I learned to develop friendship among the
peers. It had have been unsuccessful if we had not worked as a team.
My last workshop helped me learn teaching writing skills to the teachers, which is
an important part of every teacher’s life. Positively, I look forward to conduct its
second part to develop writing skills so as to produce result in my team.
So far, I have had a successful journey since January 2014. Either I become a part
of UPSS or not, in future, I will inshaAllah remember this system for good.
Jazak’Allah
