It has stemmed from the abhorration of a many ancestors and sparked many people today. Someone who advocates racism would view racism as a part of history and that it is unalterable. In the streets, you may even find marches and rallies that are for or against racism and its supporters. Being as disputable as it is, conflict is an unavoidable result that cannot be deterred in this scenario. In our latter-day society, compared to the majority of the population that promote anti-racism, only a handful of people are still pro-racism. Any interactionist would be able to at least understand the importance of ridding the thoughts and ideas behind racism. But, on the other hand, people may see this differently than others; it is thought of in many religions you can not have a society that does not recognize both the good and the bad. In this case, anti-racism has taken the form of the good while pro-racism has taken the latter. Response #2 (classmate Amanda) One major contemporary social problem that many face is gender equality. The perspective of a functionalist would view this as a form that gender inequalities exist as an efficient way to create labor division or a social system in which particular segments of the population is responsible for certain acts. A proponent of theory conflict would argue that the only reason these roles persists is because the dominant group works to maintain power and status. An interactionist perspective believes that gender inequality exists because the way people act toward each other based of the meaning they have for one another. They also believe that these meanings are derived through social interaction and these meanings are transformed and managed by people using an interpretive process to make sense of, and handle the objects that compose their social worlds. Populations are considered at greater health risk when there is high child and infant mortality. Brain development in infants and young children requires dietary resources to ensure cognitive development. · The agents of socialization are family, education, peer groups, religion, workplace, mass media, and organized activities. All of these agents may not be so obvious to everyone but largely amongst the majority of us these are very obvious social agents in our society. Each agent directly affects every individual in it's own way. Family would be the first and one of the most important factors considering the fact that this is the first type of social exposure we get as children and in our youth. At school, our friends and teachers and even the staff begin to influence our attitudes and behaviors. I would include organized activities in school as well. There is so much pressure on us as children to do what it is right in the eyes of our surrounding peers or if our teacher says it is right or wrong then this is our new conformed conception. Religion could be considered an extention of our upbringing if anyone were raised in a religious household. Historically religion has been known for it's effects on the views we develop of ourselves and of others. Throughout the history of religion, one could also say that it has been an even greater social agent than family because of the impact it has on culture and the lifestyles people tend to practice more than others. In the workplace there is so much that we see that might contradict our childhood or even opinions we've developed on our own. People tend to conform easily to different ways of behaving or how they conduct themselves. Co-workers can affect our perspectives just as much as a friend or family member. I'd rather not get started on mass media because we have clearly seen the damage being done over the years from this. The media contradicts everyone's views and opinions. No one ever really knows what to believe when it comes to media outlets. It is true, however, that even as kids we were influenced by what we saw or heard on television. The theme in ‘Those Winter Sundays’ does resonate with some of the most common phenomenon existing in our world today. Throughout history stereotyping and racisms has been part and parcel of the minority groups majorly the African Americans and to some instance the Latinos. Despite the fact that nobody chose to be born in a particular race or color, we find that most of them are forced to grow up and withstand some of the stereotypes and racially acts which have already taken root in our current societies. For instance, despite the fact that we have Latinos and African Americans struggling to get educated ad breaking through to what is considered the highest class in our societies that still has not been enough to steer them away from such notions. The same does apply to the Islamic community.
We all know that not all Islams are terrorists. But the Islamic community in general has been exposed to a different type of treatment over the years. Despite the best efforts from a majority of them, it has not been enough to get the world to look at them any differently .What is believed is that all of them are in the same category and perhaps that is one factor which has greatly promoted radicalization. In addition the problem of refugees and immigration just never seems to go away. Today we have travel bans being instituted in the USA and some parts of Europe. Whether there is basis for such actions or not, the greatest portion of those suffering are the innocent ones. The ones who have worked hard to get where they are only to be send packing or the millions whose opportunities have now been limited due to the fact that they cannot go abroad to fulfill their dreams.

Introduction
This discussion will focus on therapeutic techniques that can be used for children and older adults. The first technique consists of behavioral therapy. Behavioral therapy focuses on the way that behaviors are learned through associations with positive or negative effects associated with the behaviors, and how it is thus possible to form new associations and thus change problematic behaviors (Gotter, 2016). This is an appropriate approach for children because children may not yet have developed the self-critical faculties required to reflect on their own beliefs, which is the foundation of popular interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy. Likewise, older adults may also be more set in their ways and thus responsive to direct consequences of their behaviors rather than overarching criticisms of their broader worldviews. There are some ethical concerns associated with behavioral therapy, due to the fact that the process of re-forming positive and negative associations could be seen by some as inherently manipulative (Graham, 2019). Care must thus be taken in order to have the full consent of subjects and/or guardians.
A second approach that would be appropriate for children and older adults consists of family therapy. Family therapy begins from the basic premise that most people are embedded within family networks that contribute a great deal to their emotional states as well as to the resources at their disposal (LoBiondo-Wood, 2008). This is especially important for children, given that children are by definition embedded in relations with their families or guardians. it could also be very important for older adults insofar as they may no longer be working and may thus find themselves dependent once again on their family networks as they retire and enter into the elderly phase of their lifecycles. For example, in some situations, elder abuse may be a problem that needs to be addressed through the implementation of family therapy (National Institute on Aging, 2019).

TOPIC: What is one problem, issue, or need in the world, or in your own community, that you care a lot about?
Racism is one of the biggest issues in the world, and a lot of countries are suffering from it. The issue is not new, and we can see the old history even back in the 13th century. The classification on the basis of racism is always offending. The people are made by the same Lord, they have the same organs even their color and creed are not responsible for the abilities and talents they have, but still, the world has observed a lot of differentiation among the people. The problem is prominent in the United States of America, where more than half of the population nearly 54% say that race relations have made things worse. The differentiation between white and black have led the communities to be made, and it creates an atmosphere of hate among the people. Back in the 13th century, an amendment was made in the constitution, and it stated that there will be no slavery from onwards. There were a lot of mixed reviews on the amendment because it was terrible for some communities to accept that black people will now be equal to them. If we see the circumstances in the world, we will come to know that there is an extreme need to eradicate the concept of racism from the world. Black people should be accepted and should be given their rights. There are a lot of heroes who have laid down their lives in the struggle to see equality in different races. The differentiation is not only made by the Americans, but it has been seen in many other countries where the poor and lower casts are looked upon by others. The world needs to understand that everyone is important, everyone is equal, and all of us got equal chances to make the progress and to move ahead in life.

Racism is one of the biggest issues in the world, and a lot of countries are suffering from it. The issue is not new, and we can see the old history even back in the 13th century. The classification on the basis of racism is always offending. The people are made by the same Lord, they have the same organs even their color and creed are not responsible for the abilities and talents they have, but still, the world has observed a lot of differentiation among the people. The problem is prominent in the United States of America, where more than half of the population nearly 54% say that race relations have made things worse. The differentiation between white and black have led the communities to be made, and it creates an atmosphere of hate among the people. Back in the 13th century, an amendment was made in the constitution, and it stated that there will be no slavery from onwards. There were a lot of mixed reviews on the amendment because it was terrible for some communities to accept that black people will now be equal to them. If we see the circumstances in the world, we will come to know that there is an extreme need to eradicate the concept of racism from the world. Black people should be accepted and should be given their rights. There are a lot of heroes who have laid down their lives in the struggle to see equality in different races. The differentiation is not only made by the Americans, but it has been seen in many other countries where the poor and lower casts are looked upon by others. The world needs to understand that everyone is important, everyone is equal, and all of us got equal chances to make the progress and to move ahead in life.

The Florida mouse is nocturnal and is active throughout the year except on unusually cold nights. The mouse can climb but is primarily a terrestrial species. They communicate by emitting high pitched squeals, and when they are excited, they thump the ground with their front paws producing a drumming sound. The Florida mouse also has a distinctive odor, almost like a skunk. A baby of a Florida mouse is called a pinkie, kitten, or pup. The females are called doe and males buck. A Florida mouse group is called a nest, colony, harvest, horde, or mischief.
The Florida mouse is an omnivore, and its diet consists of acorns when available, insects, seeds, nuts, fungi, crickets, ticks, fruit, berries, and other plant material and vertebrates. A 1987 report indicates the mouse feeds on engorged ticks (

Adult dragonflies will eat any insect as long as they can catch it. Dragonfly nymphs live in the water, and they usually wait on aquatic vegetation.
From the nymph stage to the adult stage, the dragonfly has a significant, positive ecological impact. Dragonfly eggs are laid and hatched in or near water, so their lives impact both water and land ecosystems. Once hatched, dragonfly nymphs can breathe underwater, and they use a motion similar to jet propulsion to move through their environment. This enables them to eat harmful aquatic organisms such as mosquito larvae. The nymph will continue contributing to this ecosystem for one to five years before becoming a mature adult. The adult dragonfly has enormous compound eyes that are useful in searching for flying insects. While flying, it uses its six legs to scoop food out of the air. Clasping the prey in its front legs, it then eats the insect in flight.
Dragonflies play ecological roles not only as predators but also as prey of birds, frogs, and other creatures. The presence of dragonflies indicates freshwater. One of the most useful dragonfly facts is that they reside low in the food chain, so a scientific study of their numbers and their health can reveal changes in water ecosystems more quickly than studying other animals or plants. Some national parks are beginning to use this species to survey and document the health of the park's water ecosystems. population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in

It has stemmed from the abhorration of a many ancestors and sparked many people today. Someone who advocates racism would view racism as a part of history and that it is unalterable. In the streets, you may even find marches and rallies that are for or against racism and its supporters. Being as disputable as it is, conflict is an unavoidable result that cannot be deterred in this scenario. In our latter-day society, compared to the majority of the population that promote anti-racism, only a handful of people are still pro-racism. Any interactionist would be able to at least understand the importance of ridding the thoughts and ideas behind racism. But, on the other hand, people may see this differently than others; it is thought of in many religions you can not have a society that does not recognize both the good and the bad. In this case, anti-racism has taken the form of the good while pro-racism has taken the latter. Response #2 (classmate Amanda) One major contemporary social problem that many face is gender equality. The perspective of a functionalist would view this as a form that gender inequalities exist as an efficient way to create labor division or a social system in which particular segments of the population is responsible for certain acts.
