This document analyzes Anglican mission and liturgy in Kenya between 1975-1997 in the dioceses of Nakuru and Mount Kenya East. It compares the approaches of these Anglican dioceses to other Protestant churches, Roman Catholicism, and African Instituted Churches. The analysis finds that issues of social justice and politics have impacted Anglican liturgical development. It also examines how the East African Revival Movement influenced mission theology across denominations. Finally, it argues that the study of Kenyan Anglican worship aids in understanding their theory of the church in mission as a distinctive and original form of wholistic mission.
