SHIFT OPERATIONS MANAGER (PRODUCTION) 2013 – 2015
SSI UK Ltd, Redcar, Cleveland.
Responsible for a whole shifts manufacturing operations, including production, materials management,
engineering and quality control (24 hours per day – up to 70 staff). Communicating to senior level,
involved with cross-functional problems in liaison with other departments. Involved in process
enhancement team for new engineering launches.
• Meeting daily production targets whilst continually reducing downtime.
• Established Health and Safety audit procedure.
• Achieved IIP accreditation.
• Introduced team briefs, quality circles, continuous improvements and good communications.
• Ensured orders were covered and delivered in communication with planners.
