Reading Response: The Vagina Monologues
The Vagina Monologues is a play comprising episodes written by Eve Ensler. This play is mainly based on the monologues made by a large number of women about their genital organ named “Vagina.” The author herself is a woman, so she has a good knowledge of the main theme of the play. The monologues made by several women about their experience of sexual relationship and their perceptions about vagina (Ensler, 2007). Different women have different thinking about their vagina. Some have quoted, “My Angry Vagina”, “Because he liked to look at it”, My Vagina was my Village” and many more. The content of the play is quite realistic as it is based on the monologues made from the personal experiences of the women. From the reading, it has been inferred that women of different age and background have different feelings about their vagina. Young women, married women, lesbians, sex workers, all have their own views about their vagina. The work is formed in a structured and interesting ways to keep the interests of readers to a greater extent. At some places, the play gives a negative portrayal of the sexual relationship of males and females. In all it has been inferred from the reading that though vagina is the supreme embodiment of all the females, yet they take it in different ways.

Corpus Christie
Terrence Mc Nally’s Corpus Christi forays a multitude of onlookers as it deals with a very delicate and peculiar issue. The play projects the outrageous question of portraying Jesus Christ as gay. Depicting Christ as gay brings no difference to his fate which means he is deceived by Judas and is crucified for all to observe. The play, despite the rising controversies, passes the message of parity. But the spectators view the surface aspects of the play that creates the hullabaloo. The predestined minds of the viewers can never accept Christ as a homosexual and definitely consider the play as blasphemous. I personally oppose many factors in the play. The strong religious background never allows people like us to take a positive stance with the play. Christ is a popular and revered figure and to accept him as a human with all follies is something that requires a special and peculiar sense of spirit which is difficult to achieve. Jesus is born of immaculate conception and it is predestined that his life should be and certainly be immaculate. The mind set can never be altered with such ease and there is always a tendency to categorize the play as sacrilegious. There are still double sided opinions regarding homosexuality and yet there are debates as to whether it be regarded as natural or not. In any case, it is not fair to disturb the feelings of a sect of people. In my personal opinion, the play is disgraceful. The play’s apparent objective of upholding lenience by misportraying a venerated personality that Christians all around the globe reflect to be celestial needs to.

Your company recently reviewed the results of a penetration test.docxhyacinthshackley2629
Your company recently reviewed the results of a penetration test on your network. Several vulnerabilities were identified, and the IT security management team has recommended mitigation. The manager has asked you to construct a plan of action and milestones (POA&M) given that the following vulnerabilities and mitigations were identified:
The penetration test showed that not all systems had malware protection software in place. The mitigation was to write a malware defense process to include all employees and retest the system after the process was implemented.
The penetration test indicated that the data server that houses employee payroll records had an admin password of “admin.” The mitigation was to perform extensive hardening of the data server.
The penetration test also identified many laptop computers that employees brought to work and connected to the internal network, some of which were easily compromised. The mitigation was to write a bring your own device (BYOD) policy for all employees and train the employees how to use their devices at work.

Your company You are a new Supply Chain Analyst with the ACME.docxhyacinthshackley2629
Your company: You are a new Supply Chain Analyst with the ACME Corporation. We design specialty electronics that are components in larger finished goods such as major appliances, automobiles and industrial equipment. Manufacturing is outsourced to low-cost suppliers due to the significant labor contribution and closeness to electronic component suppliers.
Your product: ACME Corp. designs a leading-edge family of devices branded as “Voice Assistants.” These are add-on boxes that many OEMs are using as plug-and-play devices in a wide variety of Internet-of-Things products. They are also sold directly to consumers as after-market items, but only for IoT devices that were built with our proprietary data-port.
Figure 1: Product line of ACME Corp Voice Assistant IoT Add-on Boxes
Your task: Your Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) is requesting a review of supplier-to-customer processes as related to recent growth in our company and increasing demand for faster responsiveness to customers. One alternative is to decentralize our inventory into regional Distribution Centers; however, our ERP system is currently limited in the data available to make some of these decisions – and the output reports are very antiquated. Starting off the process, the CSCO directed that your Analysis Team use population data to pro-rate our national sales data as a starting point. For this analysis, you are asked to focus only on the flagship product, Voice Assistant IoT Add-on Box, 4GB, SKU #123-456789. The challenge is now yours to complete some computations and interpret the results!
Your data: A detailed report from your ERP system along with secondary data from the U.S. Census Bureau (reference: https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/popest/data/data-sets.html) is provided. (Note: Sales to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are handled by a 3PL provider and therefore are NOT part of this analysis.) The consolidated EXCEL® file has incorporated several tasks already performed by the Analysis Team --- sort, cleanse, inventory optimization, etc. Other tasks remain for your team.
Detailed Requirements: Prepare a formal report summarizing your results and providing recommendations that are supported by facts. The required layout follows:
A. Supply Chain Management:
a. Identify a single key supplier and a single key customer for your product, including a brief description of their product.
b. Identify the proper type of business relationship that your company should have with the supplier and customer from Part A, above, then briefly describe the data that you would share with them.
c. When implementing Supply Chain Management with your #1 key supplier for the first time, create a timeline that lists each of the six SCOR processes in the order that you recommend implementation; include process leader (by job title), primary contact at supplier/customer (by job title), and duration to implement.
d. Briefly describe each of the four enablers of supply chain .

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Reading Response: The Vagina Monologues
The Vagina Monologues is a play comprising episodes written
by Eve Ensler. This play is mainly based on the monologues
made by a large number of women about their genital organ
named “Vagina.” The author herself is a woman, so she has a
good knowledge of the main theme of the play. The monologues
made by several women about their experience of sexual
relationship and their perceptions about vagina (Ensler, 2007).
Different women have different thinking about their vagina.
Some have quoted, “My Angry Vagina”, “Because he liked to
look at it”, My Vagina was my Village” and many more. The
content of the play is quite realistic as it is based on the
monologues made from the personal experiences of the women.
From the reading, it has been inferred that women of different
age and background have different feelings about their vagina.
Young women, married women, lesbians, sex workers, all have
their own views about their vagina. The work is formed in a
structured and interesting ways to keep the interests of readers
to a greater extent. At some places, the play gives a negative
portrayal of the sexual relationship of males and females. In all
it has been inferred from the reading that though vagina is the
supreme embodiment of all the females, yet they take it in
different ways.

Corpus Christie
Terrence Mc Nally’s Corpus Christi forays a multitude of
onlookers as it deals with a very delicate and peculiar issue.
The play projects the outrageous question of portraying Jesus
2. Christ as gay. Depicting Christ as gay brings no difference to
his fate which means he is deceived by Judas and is crucified
for all to observe. The play, despite the rising controversies,
passes the message of parity. But the spectators view the
surface aspects of the play that creates the hullabaloo. The
predestined minds of the viewers can never accept Christ as a
homosexual and definitely consider the play as blasphemous. I
personally oppose many factors in the play. The strong religious
background never allows people like us to take a positive stance
with the play. Christ is a popular and revered figure and to
accept him as a human with all follies is something that requires
a special and peculiar sense of spirit which is difficult to
achieve. Jesus is born of immaculate conception and it is
predestined that his life should be and certainly be immaculate.
The mind set can never be altered with such ease and there is
always a tendency to categorize the play as sacrilegious. There
are still double sided opinions regarding homosexuality and yet
there are debates as to whether it be regarded as natural or not.
In any case, it is not fair to disturb the feelings of a sect of
people. In my personal opinion, the play is disgraceful. The
play’s apparent objective of upholding lenience by
misportraying a venerated personality that Christians all
around the globe reflect to be celestial needs to be scrutinized
and questioned. I oppose viewing the production of the play
and it is not a perfect idea to publicise the play as it can cast
negative influence upon at least a clique of audience.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Responding to “Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William
Shakespeare
“Midsummer Night’s Dream” is the story that represents how
3. people’s desires together with the assistance of higher forces
carve up their destinies. The comedy’s best part for me is
narration because it holds the reader’s interest with a great deal
of witty and jolly remarks. As the worlds of people and fairies
are closely interacting, characters come up with funny situations
that revolve the plot and forward the story into unexpected
corners.
My favorite episode is when Puck and sprinkles the love potion
over Lysander’s eyes, which makes him madly fall in love with
Helena as soon as he opens his eyes. It is after this scene that
turmoil starts to grow and characters are responsible for
working all the ‘lovey-dovey’ problems out. The idea that is
most vividly presented by “Midsummer Night’s Dream” is that
love affairs are but some magic tricks played by mischievous
fairies’. This idea is all about chemistry or loving blindness,
which can never be subjected to logical reasoning in real life.
Simultaneously, the comedy symbolizes constant whirling
motion that people are always engaged into, and which actually
serves as the driving force for all human actions and deeds.
I would definitely enjoy watching the production of the play as
well as participating in play staging. Surely there are many
aspects of the play that a theatre company should handle, such
as how to fit the palace, wood and fairy world scenes into the
limited stage space and give the stage a proper design. It is
probably best to use a movable stage, which will save up time
redecorating it. Other important things are costumes, especially
those of fairies, and how to make fairy actors’ flying over the
stage safe (if flying is possible at all). All in all, when staged
realistically, the play will create a captivating make-believe for
the whole audience.
“Into the woods”
A very fantastic Theatre children show I attended at
Prescott South Middle School in Cookeville, TN. The name of
the show is “Into the woods” , directed by Mckenzie Gentry,
4. Ashley Danielle Francis, and Ethan Copeland. It was most
likely very familiar with stores i been hearing in my childhood.
So even if I didn’t really get the idea of some scenes, it wasn’t
hard to figure out what is going on based on my past
knowledge. It took me almost one hour watching it all, which
really made my day.
As I said earlier, the show was so familiar to me. Since my
childhood I knew about the Witch that locked up the young long
hair girl for long years, and that boy with his lovely cow, and
another boy who been helping out his mom to have back her
child as the witch commanded. Also the story of that cute girl
who was going to visit her grandmother and provide food to her
when the wolf came and end up eating her and the grandmother
until a guy came and get them out by his knife! the famous story
of Cinderella also was there, that poor and pathetic young girl
that was prohibited to do lot of things and treated like a made
while other girls (her cousins) were having fun and enjoying
their life. Until the prince fall in love with her and find her
after hard long searching by her famous “shoe” .
I loved the show so much. I loved it, because of the great way
of connecting many stories in one. I loved it, because of the
actors way of communication by singing the most of the play. I
loved it, because of seeing those children on their “spring age”
acting and singing in a very high level of acting. I was really
impressed of how the kids made as perfect as it was. I like the
way of telling the story, for a women was telling this tales to
the kids setting around her on the side of the stage.
But as we all know, nothing is completely perfect in this life, as
well as this show. Every thing was awesome in the show but one
single thing that I personally didn’t like and strongly criticize is
making that little girl (7-8 years old) acting like a cow and
walking all the time on her knees , i personally find it unfair to
her especially while the boy who was acting the wolf was
standing normally. So why not the cow girl didn’t walk
normally as the wolf boy did?
In conclusion, I find the show very entertaining and interesting.
5. The actors were very trusted on their selfs and were living the
characters. The sounds, lightings, and costumes were just
perfect and amazing. I loved it and because of it, I loved
Theatre more.
The Vagina Monologue
The creator of the Vagina monolog play is Eve Ensler. The
entertainers of the play were TTU Tech players and also the
Alpha Omega Psi while in joining with the division of English
and in bolster y the TTu ladies' Center and Winter Benefit
creation. As per the show, there was a great deal of entomb play
for example, Hannah Brown. Introduction Hair by Corene
Ledgerwood. Hair by Dina Smith. Wear/Say were by Alexandra
Arriaga, Julia Ponton, and Shelley Reno. Introduction the surge
by Rebecca Crumby. The Flood was by Lisa Veal and Alex
Wilson. The Vagina Workshop by Miranda Richardson. Upbeat
Fact by Alexandra Arriaga. Introduction They Beat the Girl Out
Of My Boy by Chandra Griffith, Adrianne Duncan Sarah
Morris, and Rachel Moore. Introduction Look at it was by
Ingeborg FuchsSubsequently the show was truly intriguing
particularly for various reasons.
This was to be sure the first occasion when I really did witness
such a show with so much transaction given the quality of the
point. At in the first place, the title of the play did shock me
since I couldn't comprehend why the creator settled on the title.
Subsequently, the title made me inquisitive to comprehend the
show and its connection to the play.
The primary motivation behind expounding on the show is to
express my opinion in the show. I really enjoyed it because I
have not seen something like this before and the title really
shocked me at the first.
6. Play Review 1
Beckett in the Backdoor
The play "Beckett in the Backdoor" occurred on Thursday 22
January 2015. The creator of the play is Samuel Beckett and the
entertainers were TTU Tech players and the Alpha Psl Omega
Dramatic Fraternity. Actually, I truly did appreciate the whole
play because of its diverting nature. Therefore, I can't quit
discussing the play to my loved ones.
The play had two fundamental parts, which are 'the play' and
'the Krapp's last tape' scenes. The principal scene 'the play'
incorporated three primary characters. The man was played by
Houston Freshman, lady one played by Brenna Edgemon and
lady two played by Emily Helton. For the most part, I
appreciated the "play" scene on the grounds that it had three
extremely energetic characters who depicted the message
expected in the whole play exceptionally well. The second scene
'Krapp's Last Tape' had stand out character played by Evan Cole
as Krapp. Evan Cole made a phenomenal showing playing the
scene alone however as indicated by my perspective, it is
exceptionally troublesome for one performer to make a scene
totally agreeable. This is on the grounds that having one
performing artist perform a whole scene just weights the
character to create the message.
Joe Clark was the chief of the play while the specialized maker
was Colin Forsyth. The maker and specialized maker were Mark
Creter and Nick Ryan individually while the stage administrator
was Braden Wahel. Furthermore, Nick Ryan as the light
planner, Joe Clark and Colin Forsyth the scene fashioners and
Morgan Corlew were the light board administrators. The
backstage team likewise had Manny Hands as traditions and
Alex Wilson as house director.
7. My First Theatre Show “39 Steps”
While I was heading to watch my first Theatre Show,
which is 39 Steps, I thought that I’m going to see a very boring
and ridiculous one. But I was so impressed and surprised about
how it was way different then what was in my mind. It was so
funny, exiting, and entertainment show. Made me not feel the
running of the time because of the amazing way of how the
scenes took my whole attention scene after scene. I spent two
hours in that theatre which I think was excellent time for the
story to be represent in.
The story talked about a guy whose name is Henry, who was
accused for murdering a woman in his house. So the whole story
was about him trying his best and facing a great difficulties to
proof his innocence. We can see him how he was afraid and
running away from those who want him in the jail, and in other
scenes he looked so strong and brave risking and finding the
evidence that will lead to the truth. Also we saw him in the
beginning how he was trusting in some people and thinking that
they will believe him as soon as he’s saying the truth, which
turned out that they couldn’t trust in unknowing person and
made them expose him. Then after he learned that he should
uncover himself under a nickname and say nothing to anyone
except those whom who felt his honesty.
As we got used to see in most of the stories, especially the
actress ones in TV shows, Movies, and Theatres, we see on the
side of the main story another story of eagerness, tenderness,
longings, and love. Which I think the writers use this way to
attract as more as they can of the audiences. Because the
majority of the audiences are engaged people want to see tips
and things apply in their personal life, or single people whom
willing to live that emotion life. So also our story here is not
free of this kind of romantic stories. When Henry, the hero of
the story I can say, was fugitive, homeless, and afraid, he met,
while he was in that pathetic situation, a woman who didn’t
8. seem interesting in him as he wasn’t too. He wanted her to
believe him and help him out to reach the truth while she was
ignoring and trying to stay away from him but their situation
prevent her and him to give one another their back and go away.
In the end of the story they fall in love after she saw how honest
he was and wrong she was. He could finally after a tired and
painful time proof his innocence to everybody by his
intelligence and patience.
I’m writing this review about that awesome theatre show
after a five days since I attend it. I thought that I won’t have
much to remember but I really can’t forget it because of the
great way that the actors represented it and the way of making
jokes and solving a problem at the same time. The actors made
us feel like we live in that time and between the characters. I
really enjoyed in that show and so excited to go to my second
theatre.
