Over the past 15 years in Morocco, there have been major reductions in maternal and newborn mortality rates due to progress in women's and children's health. However, gaps still exist compared to other countries like Spain. The ISGlobal center in Morocco works in biomedical research, training professionals, and technical cooperation to further reduce mortality rates. Areas of focus include neonatal health, infectious diseases, cancer prevention, and developing education programs to train new health professionals. The goal is to continue building research and expanding education to create more effective health policies.
