Palm Cross
This year we are using Palm Crosses which are made in support of the Missions and
helping people in need.
Community Centre
As usual extra space will be available in the Community Centre for Good Friday,
Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday Mass.
Altar Society preparations for Holy Week & Easter
The annual work night will take place on Tuesday, 16th April 2019 at 7.30
pm. All members are requested to attend. Please bring your own dusters and
cleaning materials.
Confession for Easter
Confessions for Easter will take place for the Sligo Parishes in the Friary on 15th
April beginning at 7.30pm with a short introduction. Many priests will be available
for individual Confession
Easter Flowers
Donations towards flowers for our Church for Easter would be greatly appreciated.
You can drop a contribution into the Collection basket or call into the Sacristy after
Mass.
Newsletter Items
Newsletter items should be with us by Wednesday evening for inclusion on the
weekend. Email, drop it into the Presbytery or by post.

Church Face book
Carraroe Church Face book reached 974 people this week. The biggest response was
from Carraroe School and the visit to Sr. Olivia in Knock. Please have a look at our
page and support your Parish. You will find our page on Face book at Carraroe

Community Centre
Some Mornings/ Afternoon's are available in the Community Centre. Reasonable rent
and lots of parking is available. We would remind those using the centre to please
keep to your allotted time our of respect to others. .
CADRA - Wishes to express thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed so
generously to our Annual Church Gate collection which raised €500. Cake Sale will
take place in Community Centre on Good Friday after the 3 pm services. This year it
is organized in aid of the local activities including CPR/AED, Tidy Towns and Text
Alert. It would be appreciated if people would consider donating Cakes, Buns, Scones,

The life size Crucifixion scene at the Holy Well is a unique way to pray and reflect
on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Also the Stations of the Cross are spread
throughout the grounds. Let us visit, reflect and pray during Holy Week.

Our Weekend Masses are not too long! Please, out of respect for our solo singers and
Choirs, wait until the final hymn is finished. Also, it would be a great help to us if you
returned the Sunday Missalette to the back or side door after Mass. Thanks you for
