God is omnipresent, meaning He is present everywhere at all times. While He transcends creation and exists above and independent of it, He is also immanent in that He dwells within His creation. God is actively and attentively present in different ways - sometimes manifesting Himself, other times not revealing His presence. He is constantly present in all places and times, yet also separates Himself from those who sin. God's omnipresence should remind us that we cannot hide from Him when we sin, but that through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance, sinners can still return to God.
