Mokhalad abd alkareem qais is an Iraqi civil engineer who graduated from Kufa University in 2011. He has over 5 years of experience working on infrastructure projects in Iraq, including highways, bridges, and tunnels. His roles have included preparing reports, supervising construction works, following surveying and rebar installation, and ensuring quality standards are met. He is proficient in English, AutoCAD, and surveying equipment, and enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and self-improvement.
Adam Fox created a mood board for a magazine called Beat. He plans to use red and green colors for the magazine as they are complementary and will stand out together. He drew inspiration from the Muse album "The Resistance" which uses many colors including red and green. He also included images of bands like The Amorettes and Wilko Johnston that he wants to feature in the magazine to appeal to the target audience. Pictures of instruments were also included to use as props in images since they are common in rock music.

He is considered a minor, static, flat character because little is known about him and he does not change or develop throughout the story.

This 10-week workshop and mentor program teaches real mindfulness techniques to help individuals flourish. The program covers topics like mindfulness, flow, intuition, cognitive behavioral therapy, visualization, and meditation. Through workshops, assessments, and weekly mentoring sessions, participants will learn skills to be more present, manage stress and emotions, experience flow states daily, and build resilience. The goal is for individuals to gain clarity, effectiveness, engagement, productivity, and joy in their work and personal lives.
Heat treatment of bamboo between 130-170°C is hypothesized to significantly increase its flexural strength and stiffness by modifying its microstructure. Bamboo samples were fabricated and subjected to three-point bend tests after various heat treatments. Results showed statistically higher mechanical properties for all heat-treated samples compared to untreated bamboo, though differences between specific heat treatments were not statistically significant. Thermal analysis suggests heat treatment reduces bonding with water in bamboo's microconstituents like hemicellulose and lignin, increasing connectivity and resulting mechanical properties, with maximum effects at around 140°C.
