1) Marie Stopes Kenya has adopted an outreach model to provide free family planning services to hard-to-reach populations in order to address issues of access and demand for maternal health services. 2) Data shows that in 2014, the outreach model reached 17,917 women through IUCD, 92,455 through implants, 4425 through bilateral tubal ligation, and 68 men through vasectomy, translating to 409,334 couple years of protection. Cervical cancer screening and treatment was also integrated. 3) Client satisfaction assessments and exit interviews provided positive feedback, but myths and misconceptions about long-acting reversible contraceptives remain a key hindrance to family planning access.
