We bring together developers,
students and the public to
explore and celebrate videogames
and videogame culture.

We attract the best speakers in the
World, give a platform to up-and-
coming artists and create totally
unique public events.

3. Itʼs a videogame festival for everybody (even gamers).

In 2009, 2000 people attended ticketed events and more than
22,000 participated in the free events on the Market Square.

4. It takes place across the WHOLE city.

It’s driven by Nottingham Trent University and fully backed by
Nottingham City Council.
GameCity is everywhere: in bars, schools, restaurants, cinemas
and based around the Old Market Square.
