Paul Seeman is a former judge for the Alameda County Superior Court who enjoyed running in the Dipsea Race, an annual 7.4-mile trail race in northern California stretching from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach, finishing 411th with a time of 1:10:09. The Dipsea Race is the oldest trail race in the country dating back to 1905. In 2016, Brian Pilcher repeated as the winner, marking the first time in 20 years a male runner won two years in a row, finishing in 57:28, just 33 seconds slower than his previous year's time.
