The document discusses the creation of Adam and Eve by Allah over six days according to Islamic teachings. It describes how Allah created Adam from clay and breathed life into him, and later created Eve from Adam's rib to be his companion. It also notes that the Messenger of Allah provided details on the creation narrative and explained that people come in different colors and characteristics because Adam was created from soil from all parts of the earth.
Contemplation is one of the greatest deeds performed by the heart; it is the key that opens the door which allows the light of guidance to enter; it is the initial step in the direction of correct understanding and comprehension; many people know its virtue but are unaware of its reality, essence and its fruits. Allaah Has commanded us to contemplate, but few do so. This book is an adaption of a friday khutbah given by Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid which explains the ways in which contemplation can beefit the believer.

The Meaning of the Qur'an is a fresh English rendering of Tafhim-ul-Qur’an, Maulana Syed Abu Ala Moududi’s monumental and masterly Urdu translation of the Qur’an and a selection of his commentary. The translator has undertaken the delicate and difficult task of rendering this work in English under the guidance of the Maulana himself. Here is a work with a difference, by a dedicated scholar of an entirely different sort. An immense wealth of profound understanding of the Qur’an is here, a vast treasure of knowledge and deep insight, and a valuable exposition of some social, political, economic and legal teachings of the Qur’an.
This comprehensive Tafsir answers contemporary questions, and makes the Qur’an fully relevant to the concerns of day, yet it loses nothing of its timelessness nor sacrifices any of the traditional understanding. It demonstrates the unity and coherence of the Qur’an by centring everything on its message, like gems hung on a single string.
This Tafsir is particularly suitable for Muslims with no direct access to the Arabic original.

Parable of the Wheat and Tares
Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
"The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'
"'An enemy did this,' he replied.
"The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?'
"'No,' he answered, 'because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'" (Matthew 13:24–30)
Knowledge and wisdom
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise. (Psalm 111:10)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil. (Proverbs 3:3–7)
Problem with the World (Sin)
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12)
As it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one.” (Romans 3:10)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
Strength
Strength in God, Not in Man
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength. (I Corinthians 1:25)
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)
God Demonstrates His Strength in Our Weakness
Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are. (I Corinthians 1:26–28)
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (II Corinthians 12:9–11)
The Strong are to Help the Weak
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. ...
The universe arose and its creation from the things that occupied man throughout the ages, especially non-Muslims. Because Islam has clarified and explained all the matters that need clarification.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

Proof ~ Surah An-Nisaa 4:86
The Messenger of Allah said: “Allah said „O Adam, go to this
group (of angels) and say to them as-salaamu „alaykum and see how they
respond.‟ So Adam went and greeted them and they responded wa‟alayka as-
salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh. Allah said „O Adam, this is your
greeting and the greeting of your children.‟
[Sahih Bukhaari, no. 3326]
Which is better: greeting
with as-salaamu alaykum
or greeting with hello / hi /
goodbye?
What does as-salaamu
alaykum wa rahmatullahi
wa barakatuh mean?
How do we know that
greeting with as-salaamu
alaykum is the best
greeting?
What is the proof that a
Muslim must respond to
the greeting of salaam?

Proof ~ Surah Al-Kahf 18:50
And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the
noble shape of a human being); then We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to
Adam", and they prostrated themselves, except Iblis, he refused to be of those who
prostrated themselves. (Allah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not
prostrate yourself, when I commanded you?" Iblis said: "I am better than him
(Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from mud."
[Surah al-A‟raf 7:11-12]
Why did Allah tell the angels to prostrate to
Adam ?
Why did Iblis refuse to prostrate to Adam ?
Was Iblis an angel? Yes? No? Give proof for your
answer.
Which is superior: mud or fire? Give reasons for
your answer.
37. www.ImansHomeschool.blogspot.com
In Surah al-A‟raf 7:11-12 we read about the arrogance of Iblis and how he thought
he was better than Adam because he is made from fire while Adam was made
from mud.
Believing that someone is better than someone else because of their origin is a
form of racism. Humans are of all different races: African, Asian, European,
Hispanic, etc, but we all came from one origin: Adam
* No race is superior or inferior to another *
The Messenger of Allah said:
All mankind are from Adam and Hawa; an Arab has no
superiority over a non-Arab and a non-Arab has no
superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over
black and a black has no superiority over white except by
piety and good action.

“Adam was made to live in Paradise alone having no wife to live with him. Then
he slept for a short while and when he awoke he found a woman sitting by his
head. Allah had created her from his rib. He asked her „Who are you?‟ And she
said „I am a woman.‟ He asked her „Why were you created?‟ She said „So that you
can live with me.‟ The angels said to him „What is her name, Adam?‟ He said
„Hawa‟. They said „Why is she called Hawa?‟ He replied „Because she was created
from something (hayy) living.‟

[Surah al-Baqarah 2:35]
Then Shaytan (Iblis) whispered to him, saying: "O Adam! Shall I lead you to the Tree
of Eternity and to a kingdom that will never waste away?" And Adam and his wife
ate from it, and their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to

And recite to them (the Jews) the story of the two sons of Adam in
truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to Allah), it was accepted from the
one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: "I will surely
kill you." The former said: "Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are
Al-Muttaqun.”
"If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch
my hand against you to kill you; for I fear Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin.”
"Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours, then
you will be one of the dwellers of the Fire; and that is the recompense of
the Dhaalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)."
So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made
fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and
became one of the losers.
Then Allah sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him to hide
the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: "Woe to me! Am I
not even able to be as this crow and to hide the dead body of my
brother?" Then he became one of those who regretted.
[Surah al-Ma‟idah 5:27-31]
57. www.ImansHomeschool.blogspot.com
It was mentioned that Adam and his wife had children in sets
of twins: one male and one female and that the males would marry the
females who were not their twins.
Habeel and Qabeel were two of Adam‟s sons. Habeel wanted to marry
Qabeel‟s twin. Qabeel‟s twin was more beautiful than Habeel‟s twin so he
wanted to keep her for himself.
Adam ordered Qabeel to marry his sister to Habeel but Qabeel refused.
Adam ordered them both to offer sacrifices to Allah and whichever of
the two sacrifices were accepted would be allowed to marry Qabeel‟s
sister.
Habeel offered a fat lamb in sacrifice while Qabeel offered some of his
crops which were poor quality. A fire came down and consumed Habeel‟s
offering but left the offering of Qabeel.
Qabeel became angry and said to Habeel: “I will kill you so that you
cannot marry my sister.”
Qabeel began to twist his brother‟s head and neck but he did not know
how to kill him.
(Remember that nobody had ever killed anyone before this time).
So the Shaytaan appeared with an animal. He laid the animal‟s head on a
rock and hit it with another rock until it was dead. Qabeel saw this and
did the same to Habeel.
58. www.ImansHomeschool.blogspot.com
When Qabeel had killed Habeel he did not know what he should do with
his body. Some scholars say he carried his brother‟s body around for a
year, some say for one hundred years – and Allah knows best.
Then Allah sent two crows; they began to fight until one killed the other.
The remaining crow began to dig and scratch the ground to make a hole.
It then rolled the dead body of the other crow into it and buried him.
Qabeel did as the crow did, and buried the body of his brother, Habeel.

“...When death approached Adam, he said to his sons: “O my sons! I long for the
fruits of Paradise.” So they went out to search for something for him. While they
were searching they were met by the angels, who had with them Adam‟s shrouds,
embalming fluid and digging tools from Allah, from Paradise. They said: “O, sons of
Adam! What do you intend and what is it that you seek?” They answered: “Our
father is ill and he longs for the fruits of Paradise.” The angels said: “Return, for the
time has come for your father to die.” So they all came and Eve recognised them.
She clung to Adam and he said: “Leave me! For I surely came before you. Let me be
alone with the angels of my Lord, the Most Glorified, the Most High.” Then they
took out his soul, gave his body a bath, shrouded the body, embalmed it and dug a
grave for him and offered the funeral prayer and lowered him in the grave and
closed the grave over him with earth. Then they said: “O, sons of Adam! This is to be
