Personal responsibility
I am responsible of my own safety and of the safety of people I witness being exposed to risk irrespective of any
hierarchical or commercial relation.
Safety CAN NOT be compromised!!!
Stopping any activity at risk
If for any reason I am not sure or I feel unsafe, I always stop or do not work. I advise management
I always immediately stop any activity when witnessing this activity at risk and I inform the HS&E authority.
No tolerance to near-miss, to deviations and particularly to misuse of protections (CPEs, PPEs).

Enforce HS&E authority
I always respect HS&E criteria that overrule schedule and cost criteria
I always take authority over people putting safety at risk.
I always accept HS&E remark from site HS&E authority or from any other and correct accordingly.
Permits and Authorizations
I always have all the required documentations, authorizations, permits and licenses
covering the scope ofwork to be carried out before starting the work. I always update the
necessary documents as part of introducing any changes to the method of work.

Collective and Personal Protective Equipment’s
I always follow safety warning signs and wear or otherwise use adequate and properly maintained Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) and the Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) issued by the Company and required to
carry out the work safely.
Before using safety equipment’s, I always control their conformity and their state.
Safety Systems & Protection Devices
I never deliberately disarm, immobilize or remove any safety protection system or device unless this is authorized
according to rules & procedures.

Checking the Absence of Voltage
I always verify the absence of voltage before approaching a circuit:
Closer possible of the place of work.
On each active conductor including neutral.
Using a dedicated device for this intended purpose that I always test before and after the check of voltage.
Measuring apparatus should not be used for this purpose, and reciprocally, the dedicated device for checking
absence of voltage cannot be considered as measuring
Reporting Faulty Workmanship, near-misses or deviations
I always report occurrences of faulty workmanship, near-misses or deviations without delay.

Safe Driving
I never endanger others or myself by driving unsafely or without authority
(Applicable everywhere and naturally also on construction sites where speed is limited to 15 km/h and where
higher speed than the preceding vehicle is forbidden).
Control of Myself
I never begin or continue to work or drive when unfit to do so through the effects of medicines or other
substanceswhich impact my vigilance and my capacity to work.
I always report to my Line Manager immediately if I am unfit to work or drive.
Smoking is restricted inside the Work area.
Transistor radios or personal stereos / Walkman must not be used while working.
Theconsumption of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
I will not indulge in fighting, horseplay or practical jokes

Electrical Grounding
I never touch any metallic or electric equipment without physical and visual proof of absence of voltage
and solidgrounding of equipment.
Working at Height
I always use the required safety equipment’s to protect against a fall from any height. I take immediate
action to physically prevent risks of falling and never expose myself and my colleagues to a risk of falling
even for small fraction of time.
Ground disturbance
I always identify, trace and mark on site, buried plant and equipment, before disturbing any ground. I
also ensurethat these markings remain visible at all times for the duration of the work.
Housekeeping
I always leave my environment clean after the use of tools or unpacking devices for instance, in order
not to hurtanyone by negligence.
