The traffic from Delhi to Meerut,
Bareilly and Moradabad will be
smooth and it will further connect
to Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve via
Ramnagar. This improvement work
of 33.724 km length (including
flexible pavement) will be completed
in a period of 2 years. By connecting
Moradabad Bypass Corridor NH-734
i.e. Moradabad-Kashipur highway, the
travel time will be significantly reduced.

THIS INTRUSION

stranger filming a
video of Virat Kohli’s
hotel room in Perth
is a definite cause for
paranoia not only for
the former India captain cur-
rently representing the country
in the T20 World Cup being
played in Australia but also for
the ICC and the BCCI whose job
it is to provide foolproof securi-
ty to players in view of previous
cases of match-fixing. This in-
trusion in the privacy of a play-
er, reportedly by an excited fan,
has been strongly castigated by
Virat and the cricket fraternity
.
The hotel has since sacked
(“stood down”) the employees
who broke into Virat’s room and
the hotel has apologized unre-
servedly to the cricketer who has
decided not to pursue the matter.
An angry Kohli said that he
was not “okay with this kind of
fanaticism and absolute invasion
of privacy
.Pleaserespectpeople’s
privacy and not treat them as a
commodity for entertainment”,
Kohli tweeted about the incident.
A
razilians have re-
jected the far right
leader Jair Bol-
sonaro for a sec-
ond term as Presi-
dent of Brazil. In a tightly
fought and bitter election
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva
emerged victorious by a nar-
row margin. The popular
Leftist leader Lula polled 50.9
percent and Bolsonaro got
49.1 percent of votes to claim
victory but Bolsonaro is yet to
acknowledge defeat. In a re-
minder of the American pres-
idential election, Bolsanaro,
like Donald Trump, claimed
manipulation, refusing to ac-
ceptdefeatandhissupporters
blockaded roads in protest.
There’s apprehension of Bol-
sonaro following Trump in
rejecting the results. Bolsona-
ro’s politician son earlier
called it an “electoral fraud”.
Bolsonaro’s leadership
came under criticism after
his disastrous environmen-
tal policies which threatened
the Amazon rainforest and
free speech. Bolsonaro was
blamed for causing large-
scale deforestation to the
rain forest. He was also defi-
ant towards Covid pandemic,
another similarity he shared
with Trump. In the midst of
a campaign urging Brazil-
ians to get vaccinated, Bol-
sonaro claimed in a video
that the vaccines caused HIV
AIDS and asked people to
avoid taking them. His state-
ments led Facebook and You-
Tube to remove the contro-
versial video.
Lula’s victory is stunning
as he was imprisoned for cor-
ruption which prevented him
from contesting in 2018. Lula
dedicated his victory to the
people of Brazil. The rejec-
tion of far right politics by
Brazilians is a continuum of
leftist victories in almost all
of Latin America with Ar-
gentina, Mexico, Chile, Co-
lumbia and Peru having left-
ist governments.
BRAZIL TURNS

Brazilians have rejected the far right leader Jair
Bolsonaro for a second term as President of Brazil. In a
tightly fought and bitter election Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva emerged
victorious by a narrow margin. The popular Leftist leader Lula
polled 50.9 percent and Bolsonaro got 49.1 percent of
votes to claim victory but Bolsonaro is yet to acknowledge defeat

The government hospital at
Morbi got a makeover ahead
of Prime Minister Narendra
Modi’s visit to the facility to
meet those injured in Sun-
day’s suspension bridge col-
lapse which claimed 141 lives.
Workers were seen clean-

the 300-bed hospital, which is
a ground plus two-storey
structure of three wings,
ahead of Modi’s visit on
Tuesday
. Six of those injured
in the bridge collapse were
undergoing treatment at the
hospital, while four to five
other injured are being treat-
ed at a private hospital, a doc-
tor said. So far, 56 people have
been discharged, he added.
Portions of the entry gate
have been painted in yellow,
while some areas inside the
hospital have got a coat of
white paint. The Congress
tweeted images that showed
repair work going on inside
the Morbi hospital, to launch
a tirade against the BJP. The
photos posted by Congress on
Twitter showed overnight re-
pair work going on inside the
Morbi hospital, which in-
cluded a fresh coat of paint,
new tiles on the walls, and
minor construction work to
beautify the hospital ahead

CEA outlines focus
of G20 under India
New Delhi (PTI): Chief
Economic Adviser (CEA) V
Anantha Nageswaran on
Tuesday said India’s G20
presidency would focus on
key issues concerning mac-
roeconomic vulnerabilities
in view of the ongoing
global turmoil, besides
food and energy security
.
India will assume the
Presidency of the G20 for
one year from December 1,
2022. G20 is a grouping of
developed and developing
nations accounting for 85%
of the global GDP, 75% of
international trade, and
two-thirds of the world
population.
Speaking at a panel dis-
cussion, Nageswaran said
India is assuming presi-
dency of G20 at a crucial
time when the world is fac-
ing multiple headwinds.
“Under these circum-
stances, the objective of the
Indian Presidency will be
to focus on key issues of
macroeconomic vulnera-
bilities in the near term,
which deal with food and
energy insecurities arising
partly because of long
standing under investment
in energy infrastructure
but also because of near
term geopolitical develop-
ments,” he said.
Besides, he said, efforts
would have to be made on
evolving a global consen-
sus to deal with virtual as-
sets like cryptocurrencies.
“The entire idea of the
presidency would be to
identify consensus-based
solution, accelerating the
scale and scope of the re-
sponse of the global com-
munity, trans-border chal-
lenges such as regulation
of virtual assets, dealing
with cross border remit-
tances, and also the issue
of global capital flows and
how to create buffers and
safety nets for developing
countries that get affected
by spillovers from policies
of developed nations,” he
said.
The other focus area
would be strengthening of
multilateral institutions in
terms of governance, capi-
tal and resources as they
serve development needs
of countries as well as glob-
al challenges, he said.
The G20 or Group of 20 is
an intergovernmental fo-
rum of the world’s major
developed and developing
economies.

in October, with factory or-
ders and production rising
strongly despite losing

Power consumption
grows marginally to
114.64 billion units
in October this year
New Delhi (PTI): India’s
power consumption grew
1.64% to 114.64 billion units
in October compared to the
year-ago period, according
to government data.
The power consumption
rose only marginally in Oc-
tober, mainly due to inces-
sant unseasonal rains
which kept the mercury
levels low and reduced the
use of cooling appliances.
However, experts said
power consumption and de-
mand will further increase
in the coming months due
to use of heating appliance
especially in the northern
part of the country
, and im-
provement in economic ac-

use electricity to run tube-

crops. In October last year,
power consumption was

Mangarh: Chief Minis-

Tuesday said PM Nar-
endra Modi commands
respect globally because
he leads Mahatma Gan-
dhi’s country
. Speaking
at a public function at
Mangarh Dham in Ban-
swara, Gehlot said In-
dia has scripted history
in the world as democ-
racy in alive in the
country even after more
than 70 years since it
achieved independence.
Gehlot urged Modi to
review the railway pro-
ject between Ratlam-
Dungarpur and Ban-
swara, which was start-
ed by the previous Con-
gress-led United Pro-
gressive Alliance (UPA)
government at the Cen-
tre. “We had approved
the project.... We even
deposited Rs 250 crore
with the railways, the
land was allotted and
the work launched. But
suddenly, it was
stopped. I urge you
(Modi) to get the project
reviewed and connect
Banswara with other
areas,” Gehlot said.
“I will also urge the
PM to examine the Chi-
ranjeevi health scheme
and I believe that you
(Modi) would like to im-
plement it across the
country,” the veteran
Congress leader said.

First India Bureau
Jaipur: Politics has
heated up after PM Nar-
endra Modi’s visit to
Mangarh Dham in Ban-
swara and not declaring
Mangarh as a national
monument. Cabinet
Minister Pratap Singh
Khachariyawas reacted
sharply to this saying,
“The kind of speech
Modiji has given
smacks of arrogance.
The CMs of all 3 states
were sitting with him in
Mangarh. How will the
three governments
work together? The BJP
won most of the LS
seats in MP
, Gujarat and
Rajasthan. The PM has
insulted Rajasthan,” he
said, adding, “The peo-
ple strongly hoped that
Mangarh Dham would
be declared a national
monument. The tribals
who fought and drove
away the British have
been insulted. People
will avenge this in Guja-
rat, Rajasthan and the
entire country
,” he said.
Reacting to this, BJP
MP Dr Kirodilal Meena
said, “Modi didn’t de-
clare Mangarh as a na-
tional monument, re-
specting the federal
system. The boundaries
of Rajasthan, MP, Guja-
rat fall in the region.
Thus, it is necessary to
get their consent. I have
already introduced its
private bill in Parlia-
ment. The tribal leaders
of BJP have also been
raising this demand.”
“There should be no
conflict between the
State Centre on this
issue. It will be declared
a national monument,
Meena added.”
PCC Chief GS Dotas-
ra said, “BJP does this
only for power. See Ar-
jun Meghwal’s tweet.
Even Minister at the
Centre doesn’t know
what will happen. Trib-
als were called only for
publicity,” he said.

Mangarh: The ‘unique-
ness’ of understanding
and ‘relation’ shared by
PM Narendra Modi
CM Ashok Gehlot was
evident on Tuesday,
when a ‘good chemis-
try’ between the two, in
spite of opposite ideolo-
gies, was observed by
people.
Both kept praising
each other’s works pub-
licly and a similar sight
was seen in Mangarh
Dham the duo kept on
chatting. Moreover, sep-
arate talks between the
two leaders also took
place behind the stage.
Interestingly, Modi also
termed Gehlot as the
senior most CM saying,
“Gehlot is also the sen-
ior most Chief Minister
among the people sit-
ting on the stage at this
time.”
Modi has praised this
tenure of Gehlot many
times, specially on Cov-
id management during
CMs’ conference in
April, 2020. Then in Sep-
tember 2021, Gehlot
termed Modi as his
good friend and said,
“Our political ideology
may be different, but
politics never comes in
the way of develop-
ment.” At first, two duo
spoke to each other on
the stage with a smile
on their faces. Then Ge-
hlot urged Modi from
the stage to declare
Mangarh Dham as a na-
tional monument. Now,
it is believed that before
poll announcement, a
national memorial can
be announced to be
built at Mangarh.
It was this ‘bonding’
between the two that
sent a positive message
in the entire tribal belt.
From P1...
He said that “all of us
have a strong desire for
magnificent expansion
of Mangarh Dham and
for this, Raj, Gujarat,
MP Maharashtra
need to work together”.
“It is my request to
all 4 state governments
to hold a detailed dis-
cussion in this direc-
tion, prepare a road
map so that Govind
Guru’s place too can
create its identity in the
whole world,” he said
addressing a gathering,
at the memorial. “Over
1,500 tribals were killed
in firing by British on
Nov 17, 1913, but unfor-
tunately, in history
written post-Independ-
ence, this wasn’t given
its due place. Now, the
country is correcting
the mistake committed
decades ago,” he said.
Remembering Go-
vind Guru, who had led
the 1913 uprising, Modi
said Raj, Gujarat, MP
and Maharashtra to-
gether under the leader-
ship of the Centre can
develop the dham more
so that the tribal lead-
er’s place can get a glob-
al identity
.
Gehlot said he was
happy that recently the
PM spoke to the Chief
Secys of Raj, Guj MP
about dham. “This
means that it was on
your mind you
thought you should
have information about
it prior to your visit. I
urge you again to de-
clare Mangarh Dham a
national monument.”

Crunchy leaves, hot coffee and chilly weather all
mark the transition from summer to autumn.
As the seasons change, you might find
yourself reaching for warmer layers and
cosier accessories. Whether you’re
looking for everyday outfits or more
fancy ones, you can put together tons
of autumn-appropriate looks to bridge
the gap between summer and winter.
So, Let’s explore the world of fall
fashion with City First
all is the sea-
son to show
off what you
can do with
your ward-
robe, whereas
summer is the
season to showcase
how fantastic you look
without a lot of cloth-
ing. It’s time to hunker
down in your big, fluffy
sweaters and don the
same pair of blue jeans
every day
. Fall fashion
calls for learning how
to layer without ap-
pearing like an over-
stuffed penguin and
revisiting your favour-
ite transitional-weath-
er clothing, such as
classic trench coats and
clunky ankle boots.
One word best de-
scribes the overall tone
of thefallfashiontrends:
nostalgia. Now, depend-
ing on your age, experi-
ences and interests, nos-
talgia can take on a vari-
ety of different shapes.
The excitement for the
forthcoming season is
likely to feature any-
thing you could connect
with happier, simpler
times since the creative
collectives around all
over the world have all
been feeling the long-
ing for a better exist-
ence. However, with the
easing of restrictions
and a glimmer of hope
for the future, more di-
verse style directions
are opening.
Wear a fitting turtle-
neck to stay warm.
These timeless autum-
nal traditions have en-
dured since the 1990s
and will continue to do
so. In the fall, choose a
black or tan turtleneck
to dress up or keep
things casual. If turtle-
necks aren’t really your
thing, try a mock neck
shirt. Turtlenecks in
neutral colours go with
anything, but autumnal
hues like maroon and
burgundy stand out in a
crowd.
With dark wash jeans,
go for a classic appear-
ance. When paired with
colours like reds,
browns, oranges, etc.,
darkdenimlooksfantas-
tic. Additionally, jeans
are quite simple to style,
so you’ll never struggle
to put together
outfits.
However, you
can experiment
with fit. While
highwaistedand
wide-leg jeans
can make an out-
fit more daring,
skinny jeans are a
rather timeless
choice. Consider
wearing a fitted tur-
tleneck, leather jack-
et, and dark wash
trousers. Alternately,
staywarmbywearing
tall boots, dark wash
jeans, and a snug
sweater.
Put on a pair of com-
bat boots to protect your
feet. Your clothing looks
instantly cool when you
wear lace-up or combat
boots. For a relaxed yet
stylish accent, use them
with jeans, pants, skirts,
or dresses. Put on a
hoodie to keep warm if
you’re going to school or
going out with buddies.
In the fall, you can wear
your hoodie with jeans,
or even a skirt.

MORE ATTENTION WILL HAVE TO
BE GIVEN TO THE HEALTH OF
f a pregnant woman
does not get a nutri-
tious and balanced
diet, then her unborn
baby will also not be
able to develop ade-
quately
. Most women
do not know how much they
should eat during pregnancy
.
A normal woman usually
needs 1900 calories, while
pregnancy requires 2200 calo-
ries. The diet should be rich
in nutrients. The diet of a
pregnant should be such, in
all the nutrients are present.
There should be an adequate
amount of fruits and vegeta-
bles in the diet. A pregnant
woman should also get a bal-
anced amount of protein.
Protein is high in eggs, meat,
milk etc. Women who are veg-
etarian can get protein from
soybeans and pulses. Sprout-
ed pulses like moong, moth,
gram etc. also provide more
protein.According to advice
from the UK’s public health
agency Nice, women do not
need extra calories in the first
six months of pregnancy
, but
during the last three months
of pregnancy, women
should take an
extra 200 cal-
ories every
day
. So many
calories are
found in two
pieces of bread
baked in olive
oil. According
to a survey, in-
f o r m a t i o n
about their
diet is not
reaching preg-
nant women.
Women in the
survey admitted that they
should consume 300 calo-
ries or more per day dur-
ing pregnancy
. It is gener-
ally believed that during
pregnancy, women need
t o
takefoodfromtwopeople,one
for themselves and the other
for the unborn child.
A question arises how
much should women eat dur-
ing pregnancy? Pregnant
women usually need 2200
calories per day. This in-
cludes both food and drink.
Doctors say that food should
be balanced, which includes
fruits and vegetables, carbo-
hydrates(pastaandpotatoes),
proteins (lentils, fish, eggs
and dairy products like meat,
milk and yoghurt) and fats.
Eating too much during preg-
nancy can harm women.
Women can become so fat
during pregnancy that their
risk of miscarriage may in-
crease. They may be prone to
high blood pressure and dia-
betes. The baby may be born
prematurely. Caesarean de-
livery may result.
A slight carelessness in
the period of pregnancy
for a woman can af-
fect the health of
the child, so at this
time do not con-
sume any such sub-
stance which is danger-
ous. The digestive power of
the baby becomes weak due
to spicy, more chilli spices,
fried foods and sweets etc.
Similarly
, tea, coffee and alco-
holic beverages containing
alcoholic beverages are also
harmful. Cold and stale
food should also not be
eaten. If a pregnant
woman pays at-
tention to her
food, then
she will
definite-
ly be able to provide a healthy
life for her future child.
If we talk about weight,
then pregnancy weight de-
pends on the BMI (Body Mass
Index) before or early preg-
nancy
. About weight gain in
pregnancy
. If the body mass
indexislessthan18.5ieunder-
weight BMI, then the weight
gain should be 13 to 18 kg. If
the body mass index is 18.5-
24.9 ie normal BMI, then the
weight can be increased from
11 to 16 kg. On the other hand,
if the body mass index is 25 to
29 i.e. overweight, then in-
crease the weight by 7 to 11 kg.
If the body mass index is 30 or
more, then only 5 to 9 kg of
weight can be increased. If
someonehastwinsormultiple
pregnancies, they are expect-
ed to gain more weight. Nor-
mally
, you should gain about
0.9-1.8 kg in the first 3 months
and about 0.5 kg every week
during the rest of your preg-
nancy
.Many schemes are be-
ing run by the central and
state governments to encour-
age pregnancy in women. An
assistance amount of Rs 5000
is given by the Central Gov-
ernment to pregnant women
of Pradhan Mantri Matru
Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).
At the same time, Indira Gan-
dhiMatritvaPoshanYojanais
being run by the Government
of Rajasthan. Under this
scheme, financial assistance
of Rs6000isbeingprovidedby
the Rajasthan government in
five phases to pregnant wom-
en who give birth to a second
child. Pregnant women are
definitely getting benefits
from these schemes. However,
experts feel that the cash sup-
port in the schemes should be
increased further.
PREGNANT WOMEN
AMIT BAIJNATH GARG,
Senior Journalist
PREGNANT WOMEN ARE NOT GETTING INFORMATION
ABOUT THEIR DIET. IN A SURVEY, MOST WOMEN BE-
LIEVED THAT THEY SHOULD CONSUME 300 CALORIES OR
MORE PER DAY DURING PREGNANCY. IT IS GENERALLY
BELIEVED THAT IN THIS PERIOD WOMEN NEED TO TAKE
FOOD FOR TWO PERSONS, ONE FOR THEMSELVES AND
THE OTHER FOR THE UNBORN CHILD.

Editor-In-Chief: Dr Jagdeesh Chandra Editor: Anita Hada Sangwan responsible for selection of news under the PRB Act SPIRITUAL SPEAK You are only entitled to the action, never to its fruits. —Bhagavad Gita IN-DEPTH Nitin Gadkari @nitin_gadkari The traffic from Delhi to Meerut, Bareilly and Moradabad will be smooth and it will further connect to Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve via Ramnagar. This improvement work of 33.724 km length (including flexible pavement) will be completed in a period of 2 years. By connecting Moradabad Bypass Corridor NH-734 i.e. Moradabad-Kashipur highway, the travel time will be significantly reduced. Anurag Thakur @ianuragthakur Himachal has developed due to the government of double engine. Earlier there was no big university, no medical college, no railway facility in Hamirpur parliamentary constituency. I had promised a Central University in Hamirpur and it has been fulfilled with the blessings of Modi ji. TOP TWEETS THIS INTRUSION INTO A PLAYER’S PRIVACY MUST NEVER HAPPEN stranger filming a video of Virat Kohli’s hotel room in Perth is a definite cause for paranoia not only for the former India captain cur- rently representing the country in the T20 World Cup being played in Australia but also for the ICC and the BCCI whose job it is to provide foolproof securi- ty to players in view of previous cases of match-fixing. This in- trusion in the privacy of a play- er, reportedly by an excited fan, has been strongly castigated by Virat and the cricket fraternity . The hotel has since sacked (“stood down”) the employees who broke into Virat’s room and the hotel has apologized unre- servedly to the cricketer who has decided not to pursue the matter. An angry Kohli said that he was not “okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy .Pleaserespectpeople’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment”, Kohli tweeted about the incident. A razilians have re- jected the far right leader Jair Bol- sonaro for a sec- ond term as Presi- dent of Brazil. In a tightly fought and bitter election Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva emerged victorious by a nar- row margin. The popular Leftist leader Lula polled 50.9 percent and Bolsonaro got 49.1 percent of votes to claim victory but Bolsonaro is yet to acknowledge defeat. In a re- minder of the American pres- idential election, Bolsanaro, like Donald Trump, claimed manipulation, refusing to ac- ceptdefeatandhissupporters blockaded roads in protest. There’s apprehension of Bol- sonaro following Trump in rejecting the results. Bolsona- ro’s politician son earlier called it an “electoral fraud”. Bolsonaro’s leadership came under criticism after his disastrous environmen- tal policies which threatened the Amazon rainforest and free speech. Bolsonaro was blamed for causing large- scale deforestation to the rain forest. He was also defi- ant towards Covid pandemic, another similarity he shared with Trump. In the midst of a campaign urging Brazil- ians to get vaccinated, Bol- sonaro claimed in a video that the vaccines caused HIV AIDS and asked people to avoid taking them. His state- ments led Facebook and You- Tube to remove the contro- versial video. Lula’s victory is stunning as he was imprisoned for cor- ruption which prevented him from contesting in 2018. Lula dedicated his victory to the people of Brazil. The rejec- tion of far right politics by Brazilians is a continuum of leftist victories in almost all of Latin America with Ar- gentina, Mexico, Chile, Co- lumbia and Peru having left- ist governments. BRAZIL TURNS LEFT, ONCE AGAIN Brazilians have rejected the far right leader Jair Bolsonaro for a second term as President of Brazil. In a tightly fought and bitter election Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva emerged victorious by a narrow margin. The popular Leftist leader Lula polled 50.9 percent and Bolsonaro got 49.1 percent of votes to claim victory but Bolsonaro is yet to acknowledge defeat B Promoted by Suvasa Apparel and Furnishing Pvt. Ltd. n India, every incident is, un- fortunately , politicised and in case it is a political year… toh phir kya kehna! When all parties should have actually maintained silence and prayed for the departed souls and left politics to seek (or may be ‘sick’ pun intended!) its own level, the parties have sought this as an opportunity to play politics to create a roof-hitting decibel. The power consumption rose only marginally in Oc- tober, mainly due to inces- sant unseasonal rains which kept the mercury levels low and reduced the use of cooling appliances. However, experts said power consumption and de- mand will further increase in the coming months due to use of heating appliance especially in the northern part of the country , and im- provement in economic ac- tivities on account of the beginning of the new rabi crop season. The farmers use electricity to run tube- wells for irrigation for new crops. In October last year, power consumption was 112.79 BU.

First India Bureau Mangarh: Chief Minis- ter Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday said PM Nar- endra Modi commands respect globally because he leads Mahatma Gan- dhi’s country . Speaking at a public function at Mangarh Dham in Ban- swara, Gehlot said In- dia has scripted history in the world as democ- racy in alive in the country even after more than 70 years since it achieved independence. Gehlot urged Modi to review the railway pro- ject between Ratlam- Dungarpur and Ban- swara, which was start- ed by the previous Con- gress-led United Pro- gressive Alliance (UPA) government at the Cen- tre. “We had approved the project.... We even deposited Rs 250 crore with the railways, the land was allotted and the work launched. But suddenly, it was stopped. I urge you (Modi) to get the project reviewed and connect Banswara with other areas,” Gehlot said. “I will also urge the PM to examine the Chi- ranjeevi health scheme and I believe that you (Modi) would like to im- plement it across the country,” the veteran Congress leader said. First India Bureau Mangarh: The kill- ing of tribals by the British in Mangarh in 1913 was more gruesome than the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel said on Tuesday . Patel was speaking at ‘Mangarh Dham Ki Gaurav Gatha’ pro- gramme, wherein,PM Narendra Modi said more than 1,500 tribal peoplesacrificedtheir lives in massacre and it was an example of extreme cruelty by British rule in India. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “Histo- ry wasn’t taught right after independence in our country . PM Modi decidedoninstallinga site for fallen heros of Independence. During the freedom struggle, Bhils and members of other tribes engaged in a long stand-off with British, with over 1.5 lakhtribalsrallyingto Mangarh Hill on Nov 17, 1913, under leader- ship of Govind Guru, according to an offi- cial release. The Brit- ish opened fire at this gathering, leading to Mangarh massacre, it said. Highlighting the contributionof tribals to freedom struggle, PM said that the Cen- tre is working with a clear policy for tribal development from Ra- jasthanandGujaratto the Northeast. Nearly 20,000 people gathered at Mangarh hill during PM Modi’s address. About 10,000 people were present at the foothills. There was a craze among people for Ashok Gehlot, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Bhupendra Patel. Tribal people from all three states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh came to attend the pro- gramme. Those who could not go up the hill watched the programme live on LCD screens. Some tribal folk art- ists also got disap- pointed when they were stopped just when they were about to reach the hill. Though Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal tried to call them, but the artists couldn’t reach. The event is being seen as BJP’s outreach to tribals ahead of as- sembly polls in Guja- rat, Rajasthan and MP. Modi’s visit is likely to leave an impact. First India Bureau Jaipur: Politics has heated up after PM Nar- endra Modi’s visit to Mangarh Dham in Ban- swara and not declaring Mangarh as a national monument. Cabinet Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas reacted sharply to this saying, “The kind of speech Modiji has given smacks of arrogance. The CMs of all 3 states were sitting with him in Mangarh. How will the three governments work together? The BJP won most of the LS seats in MP , Gujarat and Rajasthan. The PM has insulted Rajasthan,” he said, adding, “The peo- ple strongly hoped that Mangarh Dham would be declared a national monument. The tribals who fought and drove away the British have been insulted. People will avenge this in Guja- rat, Rajasthan and the entire country ,” he said. Reacting to this, BJP MP Dr Kirodilal Meena said, “Modi didn’t de- clare Mangarh as a na- tional monument, re- specting the federal system. The boundaries of Rajasthan, MP, Guja- rat fall in the region. Thus, it is necessary to get their consent. I have already introduced its private bill in Parlia- ment. The tribal leaders of BJP have also been raising this demand.” “There should be no conflict between the State Centre on this issue. It will be declared a national monument, Meena added.” PCC Chief GS Dotas- ra said, “BJP does this only for power. See Ar- jun Meghwal’s tweet. Even Minister at the Centre doesn’t know what will happen. Trib- als were called only for publicity,” he said. Nat’l monument status to Mangarh: Congress, BJP leaders exchange barbs Raj, Guj MP need to work in unison to develop the Mangarh Dham: PM Modi PM Narendra Modi being received warmly by Dr Satish Poonia upon his arrival at Mangarh Dham in Banswara on Tuesday. Besides, V Satish, Arun Singh, GC Kataria, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Rajendra Rathore, Kamal Katara, Sushil Katara, Hemraj Meena and others also welcomed PM Modi at Mangarh Dham. Aditi Nagar Mangarh: The ‘unique- ness’ of understanding and ‘relation’ shared by PM Narendra Modi CM Ashok Gehlot was evident on Tuesday, when a ‘good chemis- try’ between the two, in spite of opposite ideolo- gies, was observed by people. Both kept praising each other’s works pub- licly and a similar sight was seen in Mangarh Dham the duo kept on chatting. Moreover, sep- arate talks between the two leaders also took place behind the stage. Interestingly, Modi also termed Gehlot as the senior most CM saying, “Gehlot is also the sen- ior most Chief Minister among the people sit- ting on the stage at this time.” Modi has praised this tenure of Gehlot many times, specially on Cov- id management during CMs’ conference in April, 2020. Then in Sep- tember 2021, Gehlot termed Modi as his good friend and said, “Our political ideology may be different, but politics never comes in the way of develop- ment.” At first, two duo spoke to each other on the stage with a smile on their faces. Then Ge- hlot urged Modi from the stage to declare Mangarh Dham as a na- tional monument. Now, it is believed that before poll announcement, a national memorial can be announced to be built at Mangarh. It was this ‘bonding’ between the two that sent a positive message in the entire tribal belt. From P1... He said that “all of us have a strong desire for magnificent expansion of Mangarh Dham and for this, Raj, Gujarat, MP Maharashtra need to work together”. “It is my request to all 4 state governments to hold a detailed dis- cussion in this direc- tion, prepare a road map so that Govind Guru’s place too can create its identity in the whole world,” he said addressing a gathering, at the memorial. “Over 1,500 tribals were killed in firing by British on Nov 17, 1913, but unfor- tunately, in history written post-Independ- ence, this wasn’t given its due place. Now, the country is correcting the mistake committed decades ago,” he said. Remembering Go- vind Guru, who had led the 1913 uprising, Modi said Raj, Gujarat, MP and Maharashtra to- gether under the leader- ship of the Centre can develop the dham more so that the tribal lead- er’s place can get a glob- al identity . Gehlot said he was happy that recently the PM spoke to the Chief Secys of Raj, Guj MP about dham. “This means that it was on your mind you thought you should have information about it prior to your visit. I urge you again to de- clare Mangarh Dham a national monument.” HIGHLIGHTS ‘Modi gets global respect as he leads Gandhi’s country’ When Modi goes abroad, he gets so much re- spect. He gets the respect because he is the prime minister of the country of Gandhi, where the roots of democracy run deep and where, even af- ter more than 70 years of independence, democ- racy is alive. —Ashok Gehlot, CM Patel, Chouhan remember tribals massacre in Mangarh Guj, Raj, MP polls: Event is BJP’s outreach to tribals! Whether you’re looking for everyday outfits or more fancy ones, you can put together tons of autumn-appropriate looks to bridge the gap between summer and winter. So, Let’s explore the world of fall fashion with City First all is the sea- son to show off what you can do with your ward- robe, whereas summer is the season to showcase how fantastic you look without a lot of cloth- ing. It’s time to hunker down in your big, fluffy sweaters and don the same pair of blue jeans every day . Fall fashion calls for learning how to layer without ap- pearing like an over- stuffed penguin and revisiting your favour- ite transitional-weath- er clothing, such as classic trench coats and clunky ankle boots. One word best de- scribes the overall tone of thefallfashiontrends: nostalgia. Now, depend- ing on your age, experi- ences and interests, nos- talgia can take on a vari- ety of different shapes. The excitement for the forthcoming season is likely to feature any- thing you could connect with happier, simpler times since the creative collectives around all over the world have all been feeling the long- ing for a better exist- ence. However, with the easing of restrictions and a glimmer of hope for the future, more di- verse style directions are opening. Wear a fitting turtle- neck to stay warm. These timeless autum- nal traditions have en- dured since the 1990s and will continue to do so. In the fall, choose a black or tan turtleneck to dress up or keep things casual. If turtle- necks aren’t really your thing, try a mock neck shirt. Turtlenecks in neutral colours go with anything, but autumnal hues like maroon and burgundy stand out in a crowd. With dark wash jeans, go for a classic appear- ance. When paired with colours like reds, browns, oranges, etc., darkdenimlooksfantas- tic. Additionally, jeans are quite simple to style, so you’ll never struggle to put together outfits. However, you can experiment with fit. While highwaistedand wide-leg jeans can make an out- fit more daring, skinny jeans are a rather timeless choice. Consider wearing a fitted tur- tleneck, leather jack- et, and dark wash trousers. Alternately, staywarmbywearing tall boots, dark wash jeans, and a snug sweater. Put on a pair of com- bat boots to protect your feet. Your clothing looks instantly cool when you wear lace-up or combat boots. For a relaxed yet stylish accent, use them with jeans, pants, skirts, or dresses. Put on a hoodie to keep warm if you’re going to school or going out with buddies. In the fall, you can wear your hoodie with jeans, or even a skirt. www.firstindia.co.in I https://firstindia.co.in/epapers/jaipur I twitter.com/ thefirstindia I facebook.com/thefirstindia I instagram.com/thefirstindia 11 JAIPUR, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2022 The Euphoria Of Fall Fashion MRIDULA SHARMA cityfirst@firstindia.co.in F

YOUR DAY Horoscope by Saurabbh Sachdeva MORE ATTENTION WILL HAVE TO BE GIVEN TO THE HEALTH OF f a pregnant woman does not get a nutri- tious and balanced diet, then her unborn baby will also not be able to develop ade- quately . Most women do not know how much they should eat during pregnancy . A normal woman usually needs 1900 calories, while pregnancy requires 2200 calo- ries. The diet should be rich in nutrients. The diet of a pregnant should be such, in all the nutrients are present. There should be an adequate amount of fruits and vegeta- bles in the diet. A pregnant woman should also get a bal- anced amount of protein. Protein is high in eggs, meat, milk etc. Women who are veg- etarian can get protein from soybeans and pulses. Sprout- ed pulses like moong, moth, gram etc. also provide more protein.According to advice from the UK’s public health agency Nice, women do not need extra calories in the first six months of pregnancy , but during the last three months of pregnancy, women should take an extra 200 cal- ories every day . So many calories are found in two pieces of bread baked in olive oil. According to a survey, in- f o r m a t i o n about their diet is not reaching preg- nant women. Women in the survey admitted that they should consume 300 calo- ries or more per day dur- ing pregnancy . It is gener- ally believed that during pregnancy, women need t o takefoodfromtwopeople, one for themselves and the other for the unborn child. A question arises how much should women eat dur- ing pregnancy? Pregnant women usually need 2200 calories per day. This in- cludes both food and drink. Doctors say that food should be balanced, which includes fruits and vegetables, carbo- hydrates(pastaandpotatoes), proteins (lentils, fish, eggs and dairy products like meat, milk and yoghurt) and fats. Eating too much during preg- nancy can harm women. Women can become so fat during pregnancy that their risk of miscarriage may in- crease. They may be prone to high blood pressure and dia- betes. The baby may be born prematurely. Caesarean de- livery may result. A slight carelessness in the period of pregnancy for a woman can af- fect the health of the child, so at this time do not con- sume any such sub- stance which is danger- ous. The digestive power of the baby becomes weak due to spicy, more chilli spices, fried foods and sweets etc. Similarly , tea, coffee and alco- holic beverages containing alcoholic beverages are also harmful. Cold and stale food should also not be eaten. If a pregnant woman pays at- tention to her food, then she will definite- ly be able to provide a healthy life for her future child. If we talk about weight, then pregnancy weight de- pends on the BMI (Body Mass Index) before or early preg- nancy . About weight gain in pregnancy . If the body mass indexislessthan18.5ieunder- weight BMI, then the weight gain should be 13 to 18 kg. If the body mass index is 18.5- 24.9 ie normal BMI, then the weight can be increased from 11 to 16 kg. On the other hand, if the body mass index is 25 to 29 i.e. overweight, then in- crease the weight by 7 to 11 kg. If the body mass index is 30 or more, then only 5 to 9 kg of weight can be increased. If someonehastwinsormultiple pregnancies, they are expect- ed to gain more weight. Nor- mally , you should gain about 0.9-1.8 kg in the first 3 months and about 0.5 kg every week during the rest of your preg- nancy .Many schemes are be- ing run by the central and state governments to encour- age pregnancy in women. An assistance amount of Rs 5000 is given by the Central Gov- ernment to pregnant women of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). At the same time, Indira Gan- dhiMatritvaPoshanYojanais being run by the Government of Rajasthan.
