Когда мы говорим про мобильный доступ, речь идет не только о решении конкретной проблемы. Речь также о том, чтобы делать привычные вещи лучше, используя последние технологические достижения и предоставляя инновационное решение.
HID, together with its parent company Assa Abloy, has 5 years of experience with mobile access in a very dynamic market. Lots of learnings on different handsets, operating systems, communication and security standards. And lots of change – there is always the promise of next version of the OS, new players, new standards on the horizon.
This is why we built a platform that is technology agnostic and has the ability to evolve with the industry as new and better ways of doing things emerge. As part of the managed service you will benefit from regular updates of the App and the portal as we stay on top of those developments.
The Secure Identity Services Portal is a cloud based hosted service that allows an enterprise administrator to onboard users and issue/revoke Mobile IDs to user‘s phones. It is possible to manage single users, or importing/exporting user data and credentials in batches. The portal functions like a card encoder or printer – the actual management of the credential takes place in the access control system as with traditional cards.
Mobile IDs are the virtual credentials. The reader will recognise this just as any other access card. Mobile IDs cannot be transferred between phones, if a user switches their phone a new Mobile ID has to be issued. There is a minimum order quantity of 500 Mobile IDs.
The HID Mobile Access App is available for iOS and Android. It can be loaded on the phone via the App Store. It stores up to 10 Mobile IDs and manages the interaction between the phone and the reader.
These three components are sold as a managed service.
iCLASS SE or multiCLASS SE readers fitted with the HID Mobile Access module. The HID Mobile Access module adds Bluetooth Smart as a communications standard, which ensures interoperability with iOS and offers long read range use cases in additional to the standard Tap. Of course, aside from Mobile IDs, the readers also accept many legacy card formats. Each reader can be configured either for short (Tap) or long read range (Twist and Go).
You can buy readers at the same time as the managed service, or in advance to be „future-proof“
