– Emmett is an aerospace engineer, whose hobby for the last few years
has been 3D printing and design (www.thingiverse.com/emmett). Last
year his hobby became his career when he joined Microsoft’s 3D
printing team. Now he works to make 3D printing faster, easier and
more accurate for the consumer market. His previous career stemmed
from his doctorate in control theory and involved designing unmanned
vehicles at a small company for DARPA.

– Kris Iverson is a Principal Software Design Engineer working on 3d
Printing in Microsoft’s Operating System Group. He has over 18 years
of experience as a Software Design Engineer for Microsoft covering a
vast array of technologies from Electronic Commerce, Video
Conferencing, Online Gaming, and Internet Security. He is now
following a passion to make Windows the best platform for 3d Printing.
