Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
1. My Best Friend
For my essay, I want to describe about my best friend leaving me and how it affected my life. This
experience made me realize how important a friend is and how it feels so empty when someone
who was always there is not there anymore.
I first met Paul in church when I first came to China in 2010. Back then, I had no friends in China, it
was a totally different environment to me so I was having a hard time making new friends. In
addition to that, I was a very shy kid. However, Paul and some other Korean friends in the church
reached out to me first, and they were the first friends that I made in China. We always hanged out
together and slowly got to know each other very well.
Paul was born in China because his father was engaged in missionary work in China even before
he was born. He was always bright and he loved to play sport. Every Sunday afternoon, group of
Korean boys including Paul and me went out to play sport. On sunny days we played soccer and
basketball on the field, and on rainy days we played badminton inside the gym, and this is how I
got interested in sports too. We also often went to a Karaoke room together, it was always fun to
go with Paul because he was not a good singer, you should listen to him singing some high ton
songs. He is a little bit taller than me and he is quite handsome, so I know quite a few girls who he
dated with. By the way, what I just mentioned is a secret. Like this we were always together, haven't
even imagine one of us leaving to another place.
It was last year's winter, I heard some news about Chinese government banishing some missionaries
from China. At that moment I did not know that is going be happened to Paul's father. Paul did not
tell me much about it, but from other people, I heard that his father is having some hard time. I was
very anxious about what was happening to him, but I did not ask him anything until he told me. He
later said that he and his family are going to leave China very soon in about a week, because some
Chinese police officers were keeping coming to his house and bothering him, trying to get Paul's
family out of China. He said that his family held out for about a month, but then the polices started
to visit his school and threatened him, so his

2. My Day With My Best Friend
After a long stressful test, I was going to spend the day with my best friend, Katherine, for the
first time after, so long now that her mom trusted me more. "Honk!'' was the sound I heard that
signaled me that Katherine's dad was here. She opened the door, as usual because she was so
courteous to me at school. I got into the rusty gray Honda. Once I got into the car I knew it was
out of my comfort zone because it was my first time meeting Katherine's Dad outside of school.
"Hello, Katherine 's dad," I said tentatively. He responded back with a simple hello and simply
resumed his talk with Katherine as if she had never left the car. They were talking, so quick I had
no idea what to do, so I kept quiet the whole car ride and looked out the window. The whole car
ride was of a foreign language I had barely heard Katherine speak at school, when her mom, my
5th grade math teacher came around. Now as if she had been liberated from those chains that kept
her from speaking her native language, she spoke endlessly with her dad. We arrived at our
destination and to my surprise, it was a church. I had never my life been to church on a Saturday
afternoon, most likely because my mom and I only had time to come to church on SundayĐ’Ň‘s.So
many things were happening at the same time in the same room where Katherine's dad left us.
There was a karate class happening right in front of us while some feet in front there were tables
with roses, string, markers, all scattered up.

3. My Bad Friend Essay
Her. My best friend, my un–biological sister, the calmness of my drama. She has many titles to her
name, well from me at least. But unfortunately bad friend is one of them. It all started last year. Our
first year in a new school. Our first year in middle school. I can just remember about how we were
wishing things wouldn't change. But they did.
This past year my very best friend has treated me like dirt. I was not the wind beneath her wings,
but the dirt beneath her feet. She has treated me like a no one. She has pointed out my flaws, order
me around like a slave, embarrassed me to a point of no return. Yes my parents know about it, and
even some friends too but they do not confront her because they are waiting on someone, waiting on

I'm always wishing and hoping for it to come true, us going back to the way we were. But it hasn't
come true, and it won't. I keep telling myself it's just a phase and she'll pass over it soon. But I'm
only kidding myself. . I always thought when I was littler, that we would be best friends forever.
That she would be my maid of honor and I would be hers. That when we get older our children
would be the best of friends, like us, and they would be happy which would make us happy. But
every time I get on my cell phone and have the same repeated one minute conversation I'm thinking
that is less likely to be true
I told her best friends forever and I meant it. Now I'm thinking that I want to rip her to shreds then
put her back together again just so she could be the dirt beneath my feet. But I don't do it because
I know I am her better half. But I can not be so sure about her being mine. As I am writing this I
am thinking about my other friendships and how those friends are probably my better half but
instead of choosing them I'll always choose her. I guess I'm too wrapped up in thinking about my
horrible friendship that I'm not thinking about the way it can be fixed. I want to fix it. I also want
to tell her what a horrible friend she has been and how I want nothing else but for us to break apart.
But I don't because I love her.
I tell people that I'll go up and tell her what she's been this past year. I want the courage more than
anything and I

4. I Met My Best Friend
For every person that exists, there is at least one other person with whom they will laugh with,
love with, and live life with. These are the people who will support the decisions you make,
encourage you to keep going after massive failures and love you despite all your flaws. We cherish
the relationships we build and the friendships we have because without friends, we would be alone.
I met my best friend when I was eleven–years–old. Our teacher forced us to sit next to each other
after the first few days of school. We didn't talk to each other much because we both had our own
friends. However, one day, we decided to each lunch together and we started hanging out more
and more. Soon, we became inseparable. People could tell that we were best friends by the way
we acted around each other. Much like my best friend and I, the devotion and loyalty between two
friends are shown through real life interactions. However, written words can also show how much
two friends care for one another. Text messages and wedding speeches may seem to have no
connection to each other but both genres reveal how close two people are. A wedding speech is
usually given by the maid–of–honor and the best man. These two positions hold special meaning
because it is meant to be given by someone whom the bride and groom cherish and love. To be
given the position of maid–of–honor or best man already shows how much love and respect the
bride or groom has for their friend. Wedding speeches, in return, show

5. Friendship As A Small Group Of Friends
Friendship in Life Since I can remember I have always been a girl with a small group of friends. In
my school years I would usually hang out with only 2–3 girls in my classroom, and it has always
been that way ever since. I'm a very shy and quiet person; for that reason I've always preferred a
small group of friends. Throughout the years, I've lost some friends on the way but I have also kept
some good friends, and refer them more as best friends. Friendship has become a big part of my life,
and it has taught me what friendship really is and who has been my real friends. Once I
graduated from high school, I moved to Racine WI, to attend college and continue working as a
waitress in a Mexican restaurant. Thanks to that job, I met a girl that till this day has been a
great friend; I can honestly say she's like a sister to me. At first, we would just work together a
couple times a week, but later on we began hanging out together outside of work. When that
started, I just began to trust her more and learned a lot from her in how she is. Since I met her,
she's the type of girl who can easily be talked to, she would get you comfortable talking to her and
she would always make you laugh at the moment you meet her. She's very outgoing girls who even
though we have been through a lot together we have managed to still continue being great friends.
After knowing her for a couple years we became closer and closer, we have our differences, but we
have learned a lot from each other.

6. My Best Friend Essay
When you have a best friend, you notice the smallest things about them and what make them
beautiful inside and out. They're little pet peeves and different faces they make to certain
situations. In this situation, Emma Moesch is my best friend and i know pretty much everything
about her. We spend so much time together that i can see these things and we have become the
same person. We laugh the same and say the exact same words at the same time.. Everytime. To
describe Emma will take awhile because she's so unique and extravagant. Her face is one that you
have to double take because she's so gorgeous. From her crisp and full of life orange hair that

Moving on to another part of her face to keep this uplifting, her nose can be described as small
and evenly proportioned to her face. This sniffer can detect the closest sonic for BBQ wings.
When she sneezes, it's quiet and she always expects a "bless you" afterward. Her mouth is always
in a U shape because she smiles all the time and is positive toward life for the most part. Her
tongue is always craving fast food and when she gets it she silently chews until it's all gone.
While she eats, we try to talk about what we need to before we leave and this can lead to us
laughing hysterically in a public place. Everytime, we end up being the loudest people there with
our giggles that shake the whole earth. You can tell it's her when she laughs because it's very
distinctive with its high volume and at times she laughs too hard that there's no sound at all.
Another part of her i like is that she listens to you intently and cares alot about you. She hears
every word that flows from your mouth and she can use hers too for helpful advice. Even though
she can hear very well it can be difficult to locate her normal sized ears behind her heavy and thick
hair. Everything is proportional and spaced evenly among her features on her face. She looks
almost angelic in some certain lights and times of the day at the right moment. Emma looks wise

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, and your dog. You are his life, his love, and his
leader. He will be yours, faithful, and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be
worthy of such devotion." –Unknown.
There are a lot of things that dogs do for us as people and that is why dogs are usually referred to as
man's best friend. A dog is a great pet to have because it is good for your health, they can make good
guards, and they provide you with the emotional stimulus you need.

Homeowners with dogs as pets, whether housed indoors or outdoors, will probably experience
fewer burglary attempts than those without dogs or other security systems. Dogs are protective of
their domain and their masters, so you will be in good paws.
Pets ward off loneliness and provide unconditional love. Pets can be there for you in many ways
that people can't. A pet never judges you and they continue to love you in spite of your flaws and
mistakes. Dogs serve us sometimes without asking or waiting not seeking any benefits for
themselves. When you have just arrived home from work, they are ready and patiently waiting
for you at the door so they can greet you right away. Your dog might wait for you to bend down so
he can lick your face to give you his kisses or your dog might even jump up to you to show how
much he missed you.
They can offer love and companionship, and can also enjoy comfortable silences, keep secrets and
are excellent snugglers. And they could be the best antidotes to loneliness. All of these benefits can
reduce the amount of stress people experience in response to lack of social support from people.
Dogs make terrific companions. They seem to sense when a master is feeling low, and they will
eagerly stick a cold nose into your hand or lick your face. Dogs lie faithfully at your feet and rarely
talk back, except when trained to do so. A dog will go anywhere that you do without

Have you ever had someone in your life who helped you figure out who you were? Someone who
showed you the right path. Someone who was there right next you even if you did not take that
path. Someone who always seemed to be right, but never held it against you when you were not.
Someone whom without your life would most likely be entirely different. I have. Her name was
Jessica. Jessica was more than my neighbor. She was more than my mentor. She was my best friend.

She would listen to you. She would be your friend, even if she just met you. I can not remember a
time when she had something unpleasant to say about someone. That was one of many valuable
lessons I learned from her and have made apart of my life.
She seemed to know everything. Anytime I had a perplexing question I knew she would know
what to tell me. Her wisdom spanned several subjects. Everything from the textbook things they
wanted me to learn in school, to the life lessons that there are no textbooks for. She taught me by
example. She showed me that it was just a waste of my time and energy getting mad, upset, angry
or so irate that I allowed myself to be controlled by my emotions. She was always calm, patient, and
even tempered when faced with people who were less than pleasant to be around. I learned from
watching her deal with people that being nice never fails. And I learned from watching her deal
with the situations life would present that as long as you gave everything you had to give and never
quit, you could never be beat.
Jessica was a truly amazing friend. She was a true friend. I could always depend on her being
there for me with the right words of advice. Even if I did not want to hear what she was saying.
She had been exactly where I was and she knew how perilous the journey of adolescence could be.
She informed and guided me in my choices. Yet she never forced anything on me. My

we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand

beating sun, blooming season and a nice boring day! The exotic yellow bus speeding through the
overpowering wind and it took a nice sharp stop. We got off the bus and that's when our
adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy
and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. This is how it all started. It was a very
casual afternoon throughout school. Nothing different from any other day, until we got on the bus.

three of us started hanging out. The different aspects of them both is what brings the three of us
together. One main aspect of the two being their family because they are cousins and were raised
in similar environments. They were both raised to have high standards in life, such as always put
in effort and they were raised to know how to take care of themselves without having to rely on
others. They were expected to keep up their grades and get a job if they wanted extra money for
things as well as taking care of chores. Both of their parents believe that they need to know how to
handle their problems, so they did things like bought them cars that they could fix up so that
foremost, they had a means of transport but also learn how to fix different problems that might arise
with the cars in the future. The two families are also similar in the aspect that they have a strict
father and an easy–going mother. The strict father in each family made sure that the two of them
were raised with a good set of morals and would enforce the rules. They spent a good amount of time

My best friend, I remember it was the first days of my senior year when I met my him, we had
1st, 3rd and 7th hour together. I saw him since the first day but I didn't talk to him at all, so after a
couple days in school he sat next to me, and I was like "He seems nice, I'm going to talk to him"
so I did, I remember he had a bracelet on his hand, and say "that's a nice bracelet" he looked at me
really bad like I was bothering him and he just say "thank you" and he moved his hand away, I
was so sad because I felt like he didn't liked me, so I didn't talk to him, I was like that's what I get
for trying to be nice. After a couple weeks he kept seating next to me, one day he started talking to
me and out of nowhere we became friends, he had so many things in common, the type of music we
listen, he has a great sense of humor, I just loved his personality. But he say that's not how things
happen, at least that's how I remember them.
I truly believe it was because of proximity that we became friends, because we interact with each
other, and after the first thirty minutes of talking to him, I felt so comfortable talking with him, if
he had never sat next to me probably I wouldn't met him. Approach behaviors played a big role in our
friendship because I saw that he was interested on getting to know me and I was so interested on him
too, after spend weeks getting information about him, his background and his interest, I considered
him my truthly friend and I can be myself around him.

A friendship can be everlasting depending on the personalities in that relationship. Sometimes
personalities can change for the good the bad in many friendships. You can never change a
person through a friendship. Differences can set you apart. The definition of a friend has
changed over the years therefore that could be a contributing factor to why we can count our
friend on one hand. Think about it! When separating from friends for a while physically values
and beliefs start to change. Many may argue that is not true, but I will say I have lost many
friends do to personality changes and belief. Some reasons maybe be because everyone in college
likes to smoke and drink. I am not a fan of either which I believe is gross so I drop many friends
due to that reason. I have also lost a lot of friends due to the ways they act towards me or others
when different people are around. In the urban world we call that being "fake." Fake is another
way of saying you aren't what you claim to be. You don't stay true to yourself and totally honest.
On the other side people can change for the good to help each other in a friendship. Friendships
can gain trust through one another in due to the people you are around. In a relationship trust is
being able tell a secret under confidence to other people hoping they wont tell. If you gain some
ones trust when you come to a problem you are likely to come to that person

A friend is someone difficult to find. A friend is someone you can always count on when times

when a boy breaks your heart a good friend walks you through it and offers a shoulder to cry on.
According to Bree Neff, a good friend is someone who is trustworthy, doesn't talk behind your

like and respect you too much to hurt you. If you have something you feel like you can't tell
anyone about, they are the friends you can tell. A good friend is someone who when you tell
them personal stuff you don't have to worry, you know your secret is safe. Trusted friends are
those you can tell your flaws to and know your revelations are safe. Sometimes after you tell
people certain information you think: "What in the world was I thinking?" but a trustworthy person
won't ever make you feel like that. What is a loyal friend? A loyal friend is someone who never lets
you down. They are someone who does things with you even though these things maybe totally
boring, but they still do them. Loyal friends won't back out at the last second. They stick with

18. Friendship Essay: My Best Friend
She doesn't know this, but she changed my life. She was there for me when it seemed like no one
else was. When most of my friends were dissolving around me and I just didn't feel like I could do
anything right, she was there, and she made everything seem okay. It didn't matter that I was
inevitably going to graduate with a GPA a tenth of a point lower than I wanted, or that my director
told me that he was disappointed in me because I just didn't seem focused lately, or that my other
friends just weren't talking to me anymore. It didn't matter because she was there and she made me
feel safe. She's my best friend, and I love her and admire her for so many different reasons. It seems
that, no matter the situation, she knows exactly what will...show more content...
We've gone swimming in November, rolled down the car windows and barked at pedestrians, and
stayed up until 6 am playing cards. We've known each other so long that we don't even have to
finish our entire sentence before the other one knows what we're trying to say and responds. She
knows what I'm thinking before I say it, and she knows how I feel before I do. In some ways
we're polar opposites, but at the same time, we almost seem to share a brain. In fact, most of our
conversations are peppered with exclamations of, "I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does
that," and, "That's exactly what I've been trying to say!" I am constantly amazed by her ability to
stay strong through situations in which most people would crumble. When everything in her life
was going wrong, instead of collapsing under the stress and the fear, she opened herself up to learn
from it, and to become a better person. Through these experiences, she has learned not to waste her
time worrying. She doesn't hesitate to do what makes her happy, doesn't worry about pleasing

high–spirited as I have seen her be. I must confess that this essay isn't about anyone I know; it's

a wide circle of friends, so I find it hard to choose any one person over the other. Lately,

19. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
As we grow older, we meet new people and make new friendships. Out of all the people you meet
there is always that one friend that you click with the most. That being said a best friend is
someone you look out for and care for like sibling. As we grow older we have a perception of
growing old and having your best friend by your side, but I came to the realization one morning
that it is not true. I found out my childhood best friend past away from a drug overdose. New to
Kissimmee I did not know what to expect. I was always a shy kid. Not thinking I was going to
make any friends anytime soon I met this kid in my neighborhood called Jacob. Turns out we got
on the same bus and sat next to each other on our way to elementary school. We never got the
same class until fourth grade. Let me tell you the teacher was not happy me and Jacob were a tag
team of little dare devils. Every day we would meet up after school and ride our bikes and do some
crazy activities like ding–dong ditch some houses and blow up some fireworks on any average day.
Aside from all that we were still young innocent kids we loved playing ball and just having fun
with all the kids around the neighborhood. It was like a small family of a couple of friends. Being
the shy one from all the group Jacob thought me how to be loud and express myself how I wanted
to. I always looked up to Jacob and his sense of excitement. His attitude made me find the meaning
of having fun and enjoying life for the small moments it
