HOW DO WE RAISE THE MONEY?
The charity dinner event raises money
via 3 channels of fundraising:

of your entrance ticket donated directly
to The Library Project.
Silent and Live Auctions: Throughout
the night, take the opportunity to
browse the tables of the silent auction
and bid on great items. Live auctions
on special items will occur throughout
the night as well. 100% of the auction
proceeds go directly to The Library
Project.
Sponsor your own Library – Cash
Donations! A typical library costs
$1,500. Combine donations from
your peers and colleagues to have a
library built in the name of your family,
company, or group!

Donate a product for the Auction
Promote your product and brand via
donations for one of the auctions

success depends on generous items
being auctioned!! What items make a
good donation?
-Spa Packages
-Food Vouchers
-Consumer Products
-Car Rentals
2. JOIN US!
Bring as many of your friends, family,
and co-workers as possible. RSVP to

ABOUT THE LIBRARY PROJECT
The Library Project donates books and
libraries to under financed schools
and orphanages in China. The Library
Project accomplishes this in two ways:
by involvement with local communities
through book drives and promotional
events, as well as by partnering with
local NGOs (charities) and companies.
The Library Project has ambitious
yet attainable goals: by the end of
2010, they will have donated over 350
libraries to orphanages and countryside
elementary schools. Projecting further
into the future, their plans include an
additional 500 libraries by the end of
2011. They need your help.
ABOUT THE EVENT
CHARITY AUCTION DINNER
Enjoy good food, meet new people, and
lend a helping hand. You are cordially
invited to join us for the 4th annual
event in support of The Library Project.
This event consists of delicious food, fun
and games for all, giveaways and prizes,
with activities for children and adults.
There will be both a silent as well as a
live auction throughout the event – with
fantastic items on which to bid.
This year’s theme will be “Battle of
the Bands”, which brings together five
of the most rocking student bands in
Shanghai, in friendly competition for
a worthy cause. This will be a perfect
event for everyone in the family, young
and old.
OUR GOAL:
Each Library costs roughly $1,500.
Our goal on December 3rd is to raise
$15,000-$25,000 to build 10-15
