One student from each school and each ethnic group was chosen to join the demanding and
rewarding project which during the first summer we took communication courses and did volunteer
teaching along with American students while during the second summer we took lectures and study
tour in Hong Kong.

Minzu-Uni Dance Union was extremely demanding which required members to practice three times a
week from 7pm to 2am. Our core values were passion and challenging the limit. As a reward, we

Migrant workers' children are excluded by public education regarding Household Registration System.
All students here came from disadvantaged families. They suffered shortage of teaching material,
teachers and even safe campus. I went to give lectures regularly on Thursday afternoons and worked
4 hours each week teaching English.
