IMAGE TASK FORCE (ITF)

2. 歴史
The Task Forceは、ワイズメン国際協会のイ
メージを調査するために2007年に立ち上げら
れた。そしてイメージ・コンサルタント業者
との間で、我々のメンバーに対する調査を実
施してＩＨＱに対して勧告をすることを契約
した。

3. 再検討
Image Task Forceは、コンサルタントの提言
を再検討して、提示された提案を整備した
ものを、
ここに提示します。

4. メンバー調査からの主な関心事…
 性の平等 - Y’s Menの使用.
 IHQウェブサイトのヘッダーにY’s Menの使用
 YMCAのない場所での難しさ
 地域社会への貢献の欲求
 奉仕の重点化
 複雑な logo.

5. Task Force の提案
憲法条項の変更には、国際議会の2/3の票とクラブの2/3の
票を必要とする。
ガイドラインへの変更は、国際議会の2/3の票を必要とす
る

国際憲法における現在の名称
ARTICLE I – NAME, MOTTO, HEADQUARTERS AND LEGAL STATUS
Section 1 This organisation shall be known as “The International Association of Y’s Men’s Clubs”
and its Motto shall be “To acknowledge the duty that accompanies every right”.
Section 2 The Headquarters of “The International Association of Y’s Men’s Clubs” shall be at
Geneva, Switzerland.
Section 3 It is intended and hereby declared that “The International Association of Y’s Men’s Clubs” shall
have corporate existence and therefore acquire the status of a person in accordance with Section 60 and other
relevant sections of the Swiss Civil Code.
Guidelines:
101 The names “Y’s Men International” and “Y Service Clubs International” may also be used.
102 In the event that the International nomenclature has to be translated, YMCA or a symbolic representation
or translation thereof shall be used.

Section 1 The membership of this Association shall consist of affiliated local clubs known as
Y’s Men’s Clubs, Y’s Women’s Clubs, Y’s Men and Women’s Clubs or Y Service
Clubs, hereinafter referred to as affiliated clubs.
Guidelines:
301 A group of people organised as a unit of this Association shall be called a club.
302 Each club shall be known by at least the name of the city and/or state or country in which it is
located, provided that in a community having more than one club each club shall add appropriate
identifying matter.

クラブ名については、既存の4つの選択肢（第3
条第1項）は、5つになるでしょう:

 Webサイト上での明確な第一印象の提供
 クラブが広報記事や公式文書で自分の名前の後に “Yクラ
ブ国際協会所属"を含む場合、それはより一貫したイメー
ジをもたらす
 コミュニティベースでのクラブの新しい名前の選択肢が
提供される

点があると考えています:
 メンバー、クラブ、区、エリアは、変更せずに、使い
慣れた名前を使用し続けることができます
 YMCAとの関連を保ちながらロゴを簡素化
 新しいバージョンが作成されると、ブリテン、バナー、
ポスターの変更が可能になる
 ピンバッチの既存在庫の活用は可能

20. 我々は、Image Task Force（ITF）の勧告を実施するため
に国際議会に3件の動議を提案し受け入れられた：
・エンブレムを簡単にするためにガイドラインを変更する
(ICMによって満場一致で通過 - 即
時実行)
・協会のために新しい包括的呼称を作成する。.
・コミュニティ重視の新クラブ名を作成する。

21. 条文への変更は、国際議会の2/3の票を必要とする
そして2/3のクラブの票を必要とする。そのため動議の制定
はクラブに委ねられている。

We will recommend appropriate changes to the Guidelines for
electronic voting by ICM in order to make the Guidelines
consistent with the changes agreed.
