Colour connotations
Red: fire, blood, danger, it can highlight energy, strength

and power, also can mean passion, desire and love. Red can also be used
because it stands out and can be used to make quick decisions for example Buy now, Click here etc

Pink: highlights love, romance and friendship. Usually more a feminine colour as it shows sensitivity and a happy colour for
females.

White: this colour has positive connotations, usually related to purity, innocence, cleanliness, safety and goodness.
Yellow: the colour of the sun. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. It produces a warming effect creating
cheerfulness and brightness to the day. It can also be used to make something stand out.

Black: this is a very powerful colour, it can suggest death, evil, mystery, fear, strength and authority. However it can also give an
impression of elegance , smart and sophistication for example: black suit and tie, black dresses etc.

Purple: this colour can suggest

wealth, royalty, ambition, luxury and power. Also can symbolise other things such as magic,
mystery, creativity and extravagance.

Green: the colour of nature, implicating grass, freshness, growth, safety and sometimes can be related to money.
Blue: the colour of the sky and sea. It can be associated with strength and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom,
intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. It can also be represented as a more masculine colour instead of feminine.

Orange: As a citrus colour, orange is associated with healthy food but however have other connotations such as fall and harvest,
strength and endurance. In addition to this orange is also linked in with heat meaning sunshine, tropical's, joy.
