2. School Plant and Facilities

4.  Madridejos Community College is a newly institution. It is
a community college runs by the Local Government Unit
of Madridejos with the Board of Trustees headed by the
Municipal Mayor. MCC founded last September 16, 2006
having 67 students with only 6 functional rooms.
 As of 2016, MCC has a total number of 2,319 students. It is
said that one of the component of a school is having a
classroom. MCC increases its population every year. But
then again, even the student increases its population; MCC
doesn’t have enough classrooms for teaching purposes.
They said that in order to have a good learning
environment, we will have to consider classroom which is
conducive for our students learning purposes. MCC has 27
functional classrooms and 12 tents for classroom purposes
but some of the classes are done in MCC stage and on-the-
ground or shaded part of the trees.

 Even the school doesn’t
have a sophisticated
facilities for the said
learning process, MCC
still wants to produce
professionals through
the help of the
instructors.

15.  CHED wanted to have a school with complete
facilities for every course offered by the school.
Unfortunately, MCC lacks some of those
facilities and we only use what we have.
Example: In our Criminology department, CHED
wanted to have a school swimming pool but
then again, we only use our resources in
Bantayan island, the sea water.
