2. As well all know fast food is supposed to be the place you got to when you’re either
in a hurry and had no time to grab something to eat while you left home or it
might be the reason why you left home since you either were not that happy with
your cooking skills or cooking itself at that time.
I’ll not give a “proper” definition since I don’t belive it’d be that great to show what
their selling, I’m here to speak reality and reality alone.
3. - Expect to work hard. That is the only truth, expect to work hard for little money
and for many hours.
- Expect to be called names or even be rudely spoken to. (by the clients)
- Don’t live under the illusion that anyone will give you a break, don’t think that the
clients in front of you will ever pity you, although you’d be surprised sometimes.
- Nobody will ever thank you.
- Don’t treat them as they treat you.
4. - This is rather a case of debate, because standards are real, they exist but those
standards are sometimes either too overwhelming either not accessible.
- Quantity is real aswell, after all having four cashiers and three other men in the
back is quite hard when your clients are over fifty.
- The food will always be eatable, unless accidents happen.
5. The client is to be put first no matter the costs.
Different categories of people.
Different expectations.
Understanding or not.
For the higher ups, selling it’s what matters.
6. Yes there are some benefits after all, hard to belive but there are, you’ll get the
price lowered by 50% if you worked that day for most of the products.
Sick leaves are a thing, and are of course paid.
Working after hours? They are paid but it depends on the place you work at, mine
for example would only grant eight hours per month and they’d be paid double.
You’re a student? Most of the time your program will be made according to your
classes.
