6. Car free living in Cumbria
– what’s it like?
Sarah described how her choice not to own a car
affects her working style…..some of her colleagues
support this (meeting in station cafe’s, adjusting
schedules, meeting online). Sarah’s example shows that
car-free living and working is possible and engenders
conversations and reflections on low-carbon lifestyles.
