Introduction
 PlayQuest Education was founded in 2012 to
promote digital literacy and enhance
students’ ability to effectively use new media
to learn and to produce.
 By the end of this semester, our goal is for
each of you to be able to master important
learning tools using new media.

information using a range of digital
technology and recognizing your own
contribution towards developing the
knowledge base both socially and
academically.

 Read one of the five online articles
regarding digital literacy posted on the
forums.
 Create a post on the student forums with
a 100 word summary of the article and
your response.
 Students must also respond to one other
post left by a student with a minimum 30
words.

Editor's Notes

  1. Stop to ask for any questions.
  2. Be sure to ask students if they have problems with access. Make a note of the students without access and make the necessary arrangements at the end of class.
  3. Click for graphic
  4. Review each section of the syllabus and be sure to answer questions.Also hand out the Project Rubrics.Mention that the syllabus and rubrics are available online when students sign in to their forum accounts.
  5. Assure students that this weekly assignment will be graded on completion and not on mastery.
  6. After this presentation, ALT TAB to a browser window and show students where to find the articles and how to complete the assignment.
