Sans serif is used to make it stand out and to
make a statement and make people to look
at the text. It is placed above the children's
heads because it is referencing to what they
are holding and it is a central point which
makes us look straight at it. They have put a
black background under the white because
these two colours compliment each other
and it makes it stand out. They have written
it in capital letters to make it look like they
are shouting this statement are trying to get
people attention about it. It shows the
importance of it.
The font type is sans serif which makes
the text big and bold. The text is also in
capital letter which makes it more eye
catching and tells us that we need to pay
attention to it. It is a different colour to the
other texts on the page this is because they
are asking us a question and telling us to
think.
They are referencing to how the
kinder egg is banned in America
because it is a choking hazard to
children
The girl is holding a gun because it is
legal in America they are showing that
children could get access to guns which
could be very harmful to everyone. It
also shows that the children in America
are in danger of the guns in America but
it still isn't illegal
This statement contradicts what America says
about protecting the children in America. They
have put this in to make the audience think
about what is going on America and how
things need to change so that people are a lot
safer.
They are showing how parents are
demanding change this is in big bold words
because they want to make a statement with
it there is a explanation mark next to it to
show as if they are shouting inside it there is
red in it which shows that it is urgent. In
smaller words it says gun sense in America.
They are showering that the American need
to take everyone safety into consideration
The girl seems unsensitised to the fact
that she is holding a powerful weapon
that can hurt several people. It looks like
she is used to guns now. The fact that
she knows how to hold a gun properly
shows that she knows what to do with it.
The girl is standing like she is a solider
in the military instead of acting like a
normal little girl. .
The children are in a class room which shows
that they should be enjoying themselves and
enjoying their childhood. Also they should be
learning that guns are very harmful instead of
knowing that kinder eggs are illegal in America
because it deemed more dangerous than the
guns.
Here we can see that it says no music
classes on the black board which shows
that they are stopping the children's
freedom of expression. And want them to
follow rules like they are in the military
They have put this website to show people that they can
click on this website and can also read more information
about this campaign and to know what is happening in
America with guns. And can support the campaign in
any way.
The monkey has clown makeup on they are
showing that people are treating animals like
they are clowns and are living just for human
entertainment
There is a tear drawn in the monkey to show
that this is hurting it and that they feel
emotions as the same as us. It shows that we
should treat the monkeys as living being
instead of abusing and making fun of them.
We can see behind the make up that
the monkeys facial expressions are
very sad and want to people to leave it
alone. We see that the monkey is
annoyed about being treated this way.
When we look into the monkeys eyes we feel
sympathy for it because we can see so much
emotion filled in the eyes and can see what it is
thinking. It looks like the monkey feels numb in
what is happening to it.
The poster has bars on it to show that the monkey is
being held captive and cannot be free and live its life
in the wild. It shows that the monkey has been
hunted and taken away from its family. The bars
there to show that the monkey is imprisoned just for
our entertainment.
We can see wrinkles on the monkey and
which connotes that the monkey could be
old and has been captured by humans for a
long time of its life. This means that
humans haven’t let the monkey live its life
in the wild and experience the things that
it is meant to.
We see two organisations that are made for
caring about animals rights this being on
page shows that this poster is about
protecting animals. There logo stands out on
the poster so that we know who is promoting
the care of animals. We see animal figures
on the logo which means the organisation is
about animals and taking care of them.
On this page the first thing that we would look at is the
statement “Animals are not clowns” it shows that people
treat animals as clowns and are treated like they are not
living life forms. The text is in sans serif because it makes
the text big and bold it is in white because it stands out from
the black background. The font theme also goes with the
carnival theme and clowns they have done this to keep with
the theme of the poster and to make a impact on the
audience.
The writing is about all of the cruel things
that happen to the animals in this situations
and is telling us in detail what people are
actually laughing at the animals getting
whipped on their open wounds and being
chained up so that they cannot roam
around freely. The reason why they have
included this text is to show us what
actually happens to these animals and it
shouldn’t be a joke to anyone. The text is
in white because it stand out on the
background behind it.
They have put this circus type slogan design here stating
that animal shouldn’t be part of the circus show we look at
this on the poster because it is in a different format than the
other things that are on the page. They have also put it in
this style to make it look like it is an announcement about
what is happening to animals.. The style is white because it
goes with the theme of the text on the poster. However the
text inside of it is transparent the reason why they have
done this is so that it looks different from the other text on
the page
On the poster they have put the websites of the two organisations that are
there to look out for the safety of animals. The reason why they have to this
there is so that people can go to the website and read more information
about animals and see how they are treated in these types of situations
This gives off the affect of a person being
zoomed into so that we can see their facial
expressions and the things that are on their
face. It is showing that we can zoom into
the things that we do not see normally if
we are just looking at someone. They are
showing us the affects that we don’t see
when we are smoking.
This shows that the affects of smoking can
happen to anyone male or female. The
female side is selected because there is a
female on the poster and if they male side
was selected then there would be male in
the poster. This makes us feel like we are
viewing the poster on a computer screen
where we can select what character we
want to see and we will also be able to
zoom in and out
They have put the text in white so that
it would stand out from the
background. This is the only text on
this side of the poster this is because
this piece of text tells us about exactly
what we are looking at. This tells us
about the facts that we should know.
Here we can see that the women is
completely healthy and looks like a
normal person that looks like they are
in good health.
There is a smile on the girls face which
shows that she is happy how she is. We
also can see the colour in here face
which looks like any other healthy
person.
It is said that we can tell if you are healthy
or not through your hair, her hair looks
very healthy and vibrant which shows that
she isn’t doing any harmful things to her
body.
Here we can see that this person is
British by looking at the union
jack. We can see other counties
that are there for example
Sweden. We can connote that this
women is British.
They have put a list of the
things that can affect you if you
are smoking cigarettes theses
are the things that you will get
if you keep smoking. The text
is in sans serif this makes it
stand out from everything else
that is on the page. At the end
of the list wrinkles is in bold.
This shows that smoking can
make you look older and feel
older as well. All of the text is
in capital letter to alert people
of the things that will happen to
you if you keep smoking it is
like shouting them at you
Non smoker is in bold so that it can tell you
how you would look if you did not smoke. It
is also a subheading for this side of the
poster. It is to tell us what the text benefit it i
about.
The smoker is in bold and is san
serif so that it can catch the
audiences attention. This a
subheading for this side of the
poster and it tells us what kind of
person we are looking at and why
there face look horrible.
Below they are talking about
wrinkles which is Bolden in
the list above. They are
talking about the affects it has
on people when people
smoke. The reason why they
are talking about wrinkles is
because it is one of the things
that will happen to you
eventually if you smoke.
If we look at this smokers mouth we see that their teeth
has gone yellow and their lips look very pale. When we
look a t their moth them must have breath odour
because of the cigarettes them have been smoking. They
also look like they are unhappy or angry with how they
are doing their mouth.
Here we can see that this person has un healthy hair and it looks brittle and dry and we
can see that she has acne and that her face is very pale. This shows us that this is
because of her smoking this is why she looks this way. This would prevent other
people from smoking because they do not want to look like how this women does. If
we compare both sides there is a clear difference to who is healthy and un healthy
This Is a campaign
from the British heart
foundation is is the
anchor for the poster
it shows that
cigarettes can clog up
your heart
Here we can see the website of the
British heart foundation. They
have put this on the poster so that
we can go to the website and find
out more about the ways smoking
can affect out heart.
The target audience of the
poster is people that smoke
and it is meant to prevent
people that want to smoke
they shouldn’t. the secondary
target audience is people that
know someone that smokes
it will make people want to
stop the people they know to
stop smoking.
This is the tag line telling us that
this organisation will help
people smoking before they do a
lot of damage to their heart.
They have paced this in the
same area as the logo because in
the tag line they are referring to
the organisation BHF
They have put the text in
sans serif because it makes it
stand out on the poster the
reason why it is in white
because it stands out on the
green background.
The slogan on the poster
is a very memorable one
because it is telling
smokers and people that
are thinking about
smoking that they
damaging our body. It is
an anchor for the image
above it because the
image above shows what
fatty deposits look like
The green background makes everything that is on
the page stand out and the text as well. I believe
this is reason why they have chosen a green
background that has a dark shadow that looks like it
is closing in on the cigarette.
They have put red inside of the cigarette to
show the inside of our body which makes it
more realistic. It is lined with red to show
how the fatty deposit is in our body
They have put something in the cigarette that
resembles fatty deposits in our body they
have done this because it shows has the fat
that the cigarette puts in our body
It looks like the
cigarette has been cut
open. The reason why
they have shown it like
this. Is to show if we
were cut open and we
were a smoker you
would see all of the
fatty deposits inside of
us
http://www.simplypsychology.org/social-roles.html
• We conform to the expectations of others, we respond to their
approval when we play our roles well, and to their disapproval
when we play our roles badly
• Social Norms are unwritten rules about how to behave. They
provide us with an expected idea of how to behave in a particular
social group or culture
http://www.independent.co.uk/student/istudents/our-need-to-
maintain-social-approval-is-actually-making-us-lose-what-is-best-
about-ourselves-our-a6827316.html
• This is the danger of the social ‘façade’. With the rise of social
media, in particular, too easily can we create an entirely false
public image.
• Social opinion plays a significant role in our lives, but are we
changing ourselves too much in order to maintain an ‘accepted’
identity instead of simply being ourselves?
• Perhaps this construction of a separate identity is connected with
the pressure to look ‘successful’ in our society
https://www.gbgplc.com/uk/why-gbg/what-is-identity/
Summary of research
The research that I have done will benefit me in creating my campaign about identity. It
shows me the different things that make up someone's identity for example DNA,
personality ,passports, family etc. This has taught me that there are several things that make
up someone's identity and it isn't just one particular thing. It also teaches me that society
tries to make us behave how they want us to even if we do not want to act that way. For
example social norms, this is what people think is acceptable but do we have act in these
ways just to please the people around us and not ourselves. The research has shown me
that I need to promote being yourself instead of following what society is telling us to do
because then we will become mindless zombies that follow everything that we are told even
if we do not want to follow it.

It is lined with red to show how the fatty deposit is in our body They have put something in the cigarette that resembles fatty deposits in our body they have done this because it shows has the fat that the cigarette puts in our body It looks like the cigarette has been cut open. The reason why they have shown it like this. Is to show if we were cut open and we were a smoker you would see all of the fatty deposits inside of us

They provide us with an expected idea of how to behave in a particular social group or culture http://www.independent.co.uk/student/istudents/our-need-to- maintain-social-approval-is-actually-making-us-lose-what-is-best- about-ourselves-our-a6827316.html • This is the danger of the social ‘façade’. With the rise of social media, in particular, too easily can we create an entirely false public image. • Social opinion plays a significant role in our lives, but are we changing ourselves too much in order to maintain an ‘accepted’ identity instead of simply being ourselves? • Perhaps this construction of a separate identity is connected with the pressure to look ‘successful’ in our society https://www.gbgplc.com/uk/why-gbg/what-is-identity/ Summary of research The research that I have done will benefit me in creating my campaign about identity. It shows me the different things that make up someone's identity for example DNA, personality ,passports, family etc. This has taught me that there are several things that make up someone's identity and it isn't just one particular thing. It also teaches me that society tries to make us behave how they want us to even if we do not want to act that way. For example social norms, this is what people think is acceptable but do we have act in these ways just to please the people around us and not ourselves. The research has shown me that I need to promote being yourself instead of following what society is telling us to do because then we will become mindless zombies that follow everything that we are told even if we do not want to follow it.
