1. We have been seeing each other less and less and that wasn’t from your lack of
commitment, it was from mine. Something felt wrong between us, so I started to
do some digging. The truth wasn’t hard to find but that doesn’t mean that it
doesn’t hurt any less. You don’t like animals and that’s something I’ll never get
past.
I cannot believe you have managed to keep this a secret from me until now. I feel
like I have wasted six years of my life supporting you and loving you. Your family
promoted their love for animals so I honestly thought this was a match made in
heaven. Turns out, I was mistaken.
You’ve hidden behind your family name but your secrets out, you are not the
same as the rest. We could have made it if you were honest about who you
were, but you lied to keep up a façade that you had the same values as the rest
of your family. I’ve never felt so disrespected.
What we had was similar to what I imagine the feeling of sitting in a field of
daisies would be like, beautiful and aromatic. And to be honest sometimes I
catch the scent of you when I’m walking around campus and it brings back the
memories we’ve had, but that’s not enough for me. Unfortunately, as long as
you stay the way you are we will never be together.
