Madea writes Jason an angry letter blaming him for all of her misfortunes, including leaving her for another woman, making her defy her family, failing to regain his land after stealing the Golden Fleece, and killing her brother and King Pelias. She also blames him for her killing his new wife and their children. Jason responds accusing Madea of being crazy and taking things the wrong way. He denies making her do anything and says the killings were all her doing. He blames her for killing their children and says this will haunt her for life.
1. Dear Jason,
Where to begin? Never would I have thought our relationship would turnout like this. You have
left me for another woman, to take care of these children on my own, and to grow old by myself. It
would not be so bad if you would not have made me defy my family and friends. . I would still be able to
live with my father if you had not made me defy him, and still the Golden Fleece, I could never get back
now. I would have a brother to go to, but it is because of you that I killed him. And it is your fault that I
killed king Pelias. If I were to never have met you, and help you steal the Golden Fleece to get your land
back, only to fail at getting your land back, I wouldn’t have a reason to kill him. ! And if you were to
never leave me, for another woman I would have no reason to have killed her.
Now for our children. They were only ones you had left…gone. Once again the blame is on you.
I couldn’t have kept them alive and let you have the joy of your children, no. Now you will never be able
to watch your little boys grow up and become strong men. Their whole life they had ahead of them is
now gone, thanks to you. I hope this letter brings you hell, if I haven’t already given it to you. There’s no
going back now, no apologies, no forgive and forget. Enjoy your miserable new life. I don’t know about
you but I feel accomplished ha-ha.

2. Dear Madea,
Where to begin?! Maybe I should start with your wrong! About everything!. It was until I got to
know you that I realized you were absolutely crazy! I left you to help you, so the new wife could take
care of the kids, and have new children for us. But knowing you, you took it in the wrong way. I needed
no help getting the Golden Fleece, you volunteered, no one made you. Killing your brother was going a
little overboard don’t you think? Does that not have any effect on you? I guess not for a crazy woman.
Nobody asked you to kill king Pelias. That was all you, and maybe I wouldn’t have failed at getting my
land back if it wasn’t for you! And don’t even try to make it seem like I’m the bad guy who left you to
grow old and be alone, I left you to help you, to make life easier for you. Why did you have to kill my
new wife?! Now I am left with no one.
Now for our children. How in the world could the blame be on me? You wanted the children
dead, and so you killed them.. Nor I or you will be able to watch our children grow up now, so now I
won’t be the only one suffering, you’ve brought yourself down with me. Together we won’t be able to
watch them grow up to be strong mean. Their whole life ahead of them gone. There’s no going back
now, no apologies, no forgive and forget. This will haunt you for the rest of your life, and when you’re in
hell, all you will be able to think of is how you killed your own children. And you thought this would do
you good! Enjoy your new miserable life alone! Because everyone you’ve had is dead, thanks to you.
