Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme is launched by Honorable
Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 22nd January 2015 for
the betterment of girl child in our country under Beti bachao
Beti Padhao campaign.
It is also called a girl child prosperity scheme. In our country
girl child’s are being killed as many parents prefer to have
boy. Even if girl child survived, they don’t get proper treatment
in education, respect and quality of life compared to a boy
child.
This mentality is a curse for our society and to to fight with
such social evil Govt. of India has launched this Sukanya
Samriddhi Scheme.
