« I’m a minimalist at heart, aiming to express powerful and complex human feelings via a few elegant lines. I want viewers to feel my lines and see themselves in my artworks. »
Tatyana Markovtsev is a Russian painter who resides in the United States and has exhibited her works nationally as well as in Taiwan. An engineer by trade, she felt driven by the need, energy, and emotional flow of creating art, and has been a professional artist for over a decade. Markovtsev's minimalist compositions convey powerful and complex human emotions with as much simplicity and clarity as possible.
