2. Hawaii has junk cars causing environmental damage to the land
In 2016 alone, 1,600 abandoned cars were towed
3. A large portion of these cars come from Military
personnel that leave their vehicles in public areas
4. Instead of leaving their car on the side of the road soldiers
can drop it off with us. We will clear the title and
paperwork, and they can leave," stated the Deputy Director
of FMWR
For a small fee, cars and trucks that pass inspection would
be auctioned off to other soldiers.
5. “Paint a Better Picture”
My idea is to work together with
different organizations, churches,
schools and the community to remove
the cars in the area and dispose them
At the same time using parts of the
car, the hood, a door, the roof, to
make art or advertising in a fun
created way, done by the kids,
recovering alcoholics, art students
whoever gets involved with the
project.
6. The idea would work
by hire. People would
hire us since we have
the tools to
dissemble the cars
and the materials to
paint the cars.
We could sell
the scraps of
the cars that
were not used
for art
7. The most notorious social
impact would be helping
the community see how
many abandoned cars
there are and how they
are causing damage to
the environment.
Also, because the
individuals
themselves are
helping with the
scrapping, its less
likely they will junk
cars
8. IVR Idea: The next “Buy and Sell page”
• Target Military personnel
• Upload their cars on a
virtual reality platform.
• Interested users don’t need
the owner to see the
vehicle
• We are the middleman
between buyer and seller.
Buyer has better sense of
what they are buying.
• Connect VR to a live stream
so people get a real time
experience of the vehicle
