1. Corporate Overview:
Super Religare Laboratories Limited (formerly known as SRL Ranbaxy Ltd.) is India’s largest and most
reputed Central Laboratory, incorporated as a “Specialty Ranbaxy” in 1995 at Mumbai by a JV between
Specialty Lab Inc. U.S.A. and Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., India. Within a decade, SRL became the industry
leader in India, with business extending to the SAARC, Middle East and SE Asian countries.
In March, 2002, Specialty Ranbaxy was completely owned by their promoters and name changed to SRL
Ranbaxy Ltd.
Following are the key milestones which have been achieved over a period of time:
1. 1996- First Clinical Reference Lab set up in India; faced first international audit by clinical trial
division.
2. 1999- First Indian lab to received NABL accreditation.
3. 2001- First Indian lab to inaugurate their own R&D department.
4. 2002- First Indian lab to received CAP accreditation and crossed testing of around 1 million
patients.
5. 2005- Entrusted with high-end testing by UK based hospitals on a regular basis.
6. 2007 - Achieved Level I NGSP Certification for HbA1c reporting.
7. 2007 - Adjudged as the “BEST CENTRAL LABORATORY SERVICES” under the category of
Partner of Choice in Clinical Research by FROST & SULLIVAN.
8. 2008 – SRL Ranbaxy gets a new name “Super Religare laboratories Ltd”. Acquired four
Laboratories in UAE-Dubai.
9. 2008 & 2009: Consecutive “EXCELLENCE IN HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES”
award by FROST & SULLIVAN.
Global Reach: Apart from India, SRL’s labs are strategically present in the following international
