This document describes an e-reception system developed by three students as a university project. The system was created using Visual Studio 2015 and SQLite database to manage resources for any organization. It allows for interaction between visitors and the organization electronically and helps update clients about activities. The system aims to simplify reception work and share information on events, training, exams and products. It was motivated by problems with accessing information on other academic websites and is intended to be easy to use across Windows devices.

3. ABSTRACT
E-reception is a universal windows application that is helpful for many reception
activities in any organization. This reception activity ranges from sensing
approaching visitors to responding their quarries electronically .Apart from that, the
application helps in updating its clients with the academy in different aspects as well.
We are aiming to use the coding and decoding properties by visual studio 2015
enterprise update 2 and database SQLite to extract information and hence update
about activities of organization.
Apart to that the application helps to update its clients about the different activities
going around.

4. Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
Overview
E-reception is a universal windows platform application that is capable of sensing
approaching visitors, orally greeting them, picking up their voice and understanding
their questions, and then talking back to them appropriately. It may also have a
limited self-learning capability of accumulating knowledge through its interactions
with visitors.
.E-reception is a Universal Windows application that is design for Windows
Operating system (Windows 7 and later). The application is developed by using
visual studio 2015 enterprise update2 and database SQLite. The main task of the
universal windows application is to manage all the resources related to any
organisation. It helps to easily set interaction between the related people and the
organisation. We use this windows application so that the normal people get
interacted with different purpose in the organisation. The application can be run on
any windows operating system on pc, laptop and windows phone.
It is easy to use friendly, graphical interface to increase organization and use’s
efficient . This app has many features .The organization like Microsoft provide the
information about their products ,training, exams and their events to the public,

5. which helps receptionist to get them known about the different activities and event
happening and people for making them know about the activities happening. This
application has better management system such as training, exam, and events. The
main advantages of our application are anyone who is interested in enrolling or
visitors can visit. It is faster accessing to all the information. This application has got
information portal where information is shared through email and notices. In this web
application, we have included such a features that can be useful and easily handled.
We had studied about the similar websites also so that we can further know about the
language we used and we could use in our web application and could make it more
featured in future than we have now.
1.2 ProblemStatements
As the organisation like Microsoft ,there can be more than one admin. In case of
viewers, they will only be able to view and manipulate the data according to
their convenience. We will create this app just to make the reception work easier
than they usually have.

6. 1.3 Aims and Objective
1.3.1 Aims
 The main aim is to make interaction between organisation and visitors.
 The organisation can upload their products ,events, exams like (MOS),
trainings with date and time.
1.3.2 Objectives
 To make interaction between the organization and visitors.
 To helps visitors for getting the information about events, products, training, etc.
 To help admin of the organization to provide information of their products,
important notices regarding training ,events ,exams and their organization’s fame to
the visitors .

7. 1.4 Motivation
As a computerstudent we are involvedinmanyactivitiesof thisorganization.
We were motivated by the different activities that organization provides to the
different people especially students and their problem we faced during visiting of
different academic page where sufficient information are not provided to the
viewers and we want to create it just to make viewers easy to get all the notices and
event date plus training and exams.
1.5 Scope
This organization can upload their products ,information about trainings ,exams and
their work .
1.6 Feasibility
This project carries goals that could be realistically accomplished. We have a clear
goal of this project in our minds. After a brainstorming session with each other, our
group members decided that this project was indeed technically feasible. Since, the
web application isn’t going to be highly complex, it will not need a lot of processing
power, as it runs in a simple computer by using visual studio 2015 .

8. CHAPTER 2
LITERATURE REVIEW
We recently had studied about the different types of institute where different flow of
information is provided. There are many more websites in Google which have similar
features as in our application like www.w3schools.com where there is admin itself
who made changes on the pages but there is no any other mode to edit the files.
As per our research, there are lots of learning materials and anyone can directly go
through the page but no one has to make new account or sign in to the pages. In our
app visitors can view all the information like products of organisations, their wok and
events without any password but visitors cannot change or update the information
.only the admin can change and update the information like add their new products
,events ,exams etc. in our college website we found that the teacher of our college
have their own personal pages in the faculty members. The network admin has to
maintain their own pages and they cannot directly upload the information they want
to upload but in our app, network admin is not needed. The network administrator
uses isp (internet service provider) to upload the files. The faculty members of the
college website have to login to the isp (internet service provider) and can upload the
files but in our app teacher can login and directly can upload the files. In the next
website w3schools.com, there are lots of learning materials and anyone can directly
go through the page but no one has to make new account or sign in to the pages. The
changes cannot be made by the other person who enters the website.
We are going to use visual studio 2015 enterprise update 2 and language like Xaml
,c#, .net and database SQLite .

11. CONCLUSION AND FUTURE WORK
Conclusion
We hope that this web app helps to better manage the activity of academy. This app
will have all the updates that are required for smooth and easy management academy
and better facilities for trainee.
Everything will be updated via internet.
Future Enhancement
We will be creating this application and making it suitable for use by any
institute or academy to helps the more visitors visit without going to the certain place
.
