3. Daily rate as a teacher from £110 –175 ++ per day depending on experience
responsibilities and the school’s budget.
Expect a monthly salary between £2000 -3500
Become a composite company or be a part of an umbrella company and earn
as much as £100 a month extra.
(we can assist you in setting this up, please ask).
It is a reality that for every teacher you recommend to us that works 20 days,
you will receive £50. Some of our supply teachers earn up to an extra £200 a
month by doing this.
We can negotiate your salary with schools on your behalf if you are offered a
permanent position
You will receive prompt payment into your bank account
4. The CEO and owner Alisdair Low trained as a secondary teacher at Goldsmiths College London. He has
taught in main stream primary and secondary and SEN schools, as well as spending time teaching abroad
after taking a TEFL qualification. He spent 2 years teaching severely autistic pupils in Hatton School in
Redbridge East London. Having spent 10 years in Educational Recruitment as an award winning Senior
Manager for large national agencies, Alisdair qualified in recruitment practice (MREC Cert RP) and
employment law. He decided to start his own company to provide schools with a tailored, cost effective

Jenny trained as a Secondary Teacher in London and for the past 6 years she has taught pupils from
Years 7 -13 at Nonsuch High School in Surrey. Jenny’s years of teaching coupled with her business
experience at Reuters has enabled her to utilise these skills in the challenging arena of Education
Recruitment. In Alisdair she has discovered a like minded professional with the unified goal of providing
honest and quality driven recruitment solutions to both schools and teachers -

Nick trained as a Primary Teacher in Australia, although he never taught moving directly into the Recruitment world instead.
He has lived in the UK for over 10 years, and in Cohort he says he has found his spiritual home, it is an organisation that puts

5. Steve began his career in recruitment 12 years ago gaining his reputation in the construction recruitment
industry, for a major global recruitment organisation. Following a career break travelling the world, Steve set
up a business working with employers to identify training solutions and improve the skills of employees. In

Louise is currently studying a BA Hons Degree in Business Management with a view to taking her teachers
qualification in the future within secondary education. Louise comes from a professional family of caring
senior social workers and child welfare support and her most important role she feels she has taken is that
of a parent which has reinforced her desire to work within education as she has a huge personal and
professional interest in education and children’s welfare. With Louise’s extensive recruitment
experience and the company’s highly experienced teaching background Louise believes she has all the skills

Donna has a BA (Hons) degree in English and started her career in corporate banking. Her interests
swung towards education once her family came along and she spent a significant amount of
time volunteering in school and then working in a pre-school before taking a position as project
manager for an education resource company, where she coordinated training nationally for support staff
in both primary and secondary schools for six years. Donna is now with Cohort as they are a company who
