2. Instructor Profile:
Craig Nelson has over 33 years of bank experience with progressively growing
responsibilities and expertise and leadership. He began his career in banking with
Wells Fargo (formerly named Northwestern Bank Corporation a/k/a Norwest) serving
as a staff auditor in 1980. After 33 years of banking Craig was most recently serving
banks in the role of Chief Credit Officer and Executive Vice President and/or division
head of credit administration.
The majority of Craig's banking career has been dedicated to establishing,
maintaining, leading and directing credit administration/operations and credit risk
functions including credit underwriting and approval, special assets/workout
management, credit review and senior lender/chief credit officer responsibilities.

most relevant factors bankers and administrators need to know in order to "Attach" &
"Perfect" the most common forms of personal property. The course will focus less on
theory and more on the practical application of the rules under Revised Article 9
including: Types of personal property covered by Revised Article 9 and their legal
definitions; Preparing all UCC Financing Statements Forms properly to insure
perfection; Utilizing the proper collateral descriptions on Security Agreements and
Financing Statements; Filing the Financing Statements in the proper location and
other areas of concern.
