Why are there four Geniuses? A line of great minds from Plato to Isaac Newton to Carl
Jung agreed there are four ‘types’. We all have a little of each genius, but have more of
one than the others. When you follow your genius, you end up doing what you love,
and loving what you do. These four link to the four seasons.

Senses Smart!!
You are grounded, but often get lost in activity. Leaders from

Tempo is ‘Autumn’ energy. All of these people focused on their

answering the question ‘When’.

Steel Genius
Detail Smart!!!

includes Larry Page and Sergey Brin, founders of Google, and

strengths in systems and in managing data. They ignored those
who criticised them for not having better social skills or being

Asking the question “What?”

Perspective is related to depth of vision.
Perspective gives a deeper view of what is
possible. Dynamos are great at providing
perspective, but often at the expense of
the peripheral issues.

Asking the question “When?”

Perception is related to breadth of vision.
Peripheral vision gives a wider view of
what is there. Tempos see the wood for
the trees, but often miss the bigger
picture.

Clarity
Asking the question “How?”

Clarity is related to the detail of vision.
Clarity can see in black and white, and
can pick up detail that others will miss.
Steels see every detail, but often at the
expense of the people involved.
Blaze Genius’ natural vision is
Colour
Asking the question “Who?”

Color is related to drama of vision. Color
can make our vision come alive with
variety and vibrancy. Blazes see the
excitement, but often miss the detail.

Spirit’s natural vision is
Insight
Asking the question “Why?”

We are all connected to the fifth element,
which offers the fifth aspect of vision,
insight. Insight transcends our two eyes,
and is seen through what different
cultures have termed the ‘third eye’.
Insight relates our outer world to our
inner knowledge, or in Jungian terms,
our ‘conscious’ to our ‘unconscious’.

team, we build the power of great vision.
Through vision, we can turn our thoughts
to action. With great vision, we can turn

The simplest way to see how the four
Geniuses relate to each other is to think
about the brain. Each Genius has a
different strength and focus.

Dynamo Genius!
This is our frontal lobe - our intuitive
thinking. It’s all about being at our best

This is the opposite of Tempo Genius.

Tempo Genius!
This is in the temporal lobe - our sensory
thinking. It’s all about being the best
when we have our ‘ear to the ground’.
This is the opposite of Dynamo Genius.

This is in our right brain - our extrovert
actions. It’s all about relationships and
external connections. This is the opposite
of Steel Genius.
Steel Genius!
This is our left brain - our introvert
actions. It’s all about details and internal
analysis. This is the opposite of Blaze
Genius.

Spirit, sits in the centre of the brain, in an
area called the Pineal Gland, which is the
part of us we connect for ‘insight’. We all
have a part of each Genius, but we are
strongest in one. When we focus at that
one, it’s like choosing one position in a
game of football. It gives you a chance to
excel in one area, and be of most value to
everyone else in the team. It means
people will start passing you the ball in
life, instead of you constantly chasing it.
Why are Psychometric Tests Important?
Psychometric Tests allow us to see our
differences as strengths, so we can help
each other to shine. Today’s entire
psychometric testing industry is based on
the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung,
and his book Psychological Types
published in 1921. If you have ever heard
of the concept of archetypes, the collective
unconscious, and synchronicity, these are
all terms popularized by Carl Jung (as are
terms of introvert / extrovert, and sensory
/ intuitive).

Where did Jung’s information come
from? In 1920, a year before he published
‘Psychological Types”, Carl Jung was the
first in the west to publish the ancient
Chinese text, the I Ching (Written in
3,000 BC). Richard Wilhelm, who
brought the text back from China,
explained to Jung the Chinese five
elements, which today form the main
personality ‘types’ (Water grows Wood
that fuels Fire that settles to Earth which
mines Metal that flows back to Water).

! The 4 Geniuses!
The following is an extract from the Millionaire Master
Plan, giving you more details on how the four Geniuses
connect with each other and to your flow:
Your Genius!
Try this little experiment: Fold your arms. Look whether you have folded your left arm
over your right arm or your right over your left.
!
Now do the opposite: Fold your right arm over your left arm or your left over your right.
Does it feel comfortable? For most people, it doesn’t; for some, it is even hard to do—it
feels . . . unnatural. That’s because you’re doing the wrong thing. That’s not to say there is
one right way to fold our arms. There is only your natural way.
!
We are all born great at something, but as we grow up, we find out all the things that we
aren’t so good at. So we spend our lives feeling bad about those things, working on our
natural weaknesses while we take our natural strengths for granted.
!
This truth is no more tragic than in a school of children, where every child has a different
genius, but when they are all judged by the same test, many lose their confidence and with
it their desire to learn. Why try to be something else when you are already naturally you—
you are enough!
!
When we become aware of our natural genius, it’s like a light going on. Suddenly we realize
we do not need to focus on our weaknesses to be successful. We simply need to follow a
path that plays to our natural strengths.

The Rules of the Genius Game!
!
By rules, I mean that each genius is like a sport you can become great at. If you know the
game you are best suited for and the rules of that game, you can now focus on being the
best at it. And here’s a truth about sports: Sometimes the rules of one sport are the exact
opposite of another sport’s. For example, if you’re playing soccer, the rule is that you kick
the ball; you don’t pick it up. In basketball, the rule is that you pick the ball up; you don’t
kick it.

Similarly, if you’re a Blaze Genius and you hold a job that doesn’t feature much variety—
one in which you sit at your desk all day dealing with the details instead of getting out and
connecting with people—you are guaranteed to be miserable whether you’re working at
your own business or for someone else. But if you are a Steel Genius and you are sent out
to meet people every day, you’re going to be equally miserable.
!
People, books—even you, yourself—may tell you to keep doing it because “that’s your job,”
but all you do is feel stupid and want to escape the whole thing.
!
I have seen people struggle to get out of debt because they’ve been told they need to keep
track of every bill, and that isn’t their genius’s strength. They are trying to follow rules for a
game that isn’t their natural game! When they discover the rules of their genius, they
follow a different strategy that gets them out of debt easily.
!
I have seen employees yearning to quit their jobs because they are struggling in an
environment that is making them miserable, but they don’t know how to replace their
income with something they love.
!
When they discover their genius, some suddenly see a path forward and have the courage
to act, while others simply shift what they are doing in their job and suddenly love their life
with a career on the fast track.
!
What’s your genius? I’m a Dynamo Genius, a natural creator. I struggled when it came to
managing my own detailed accounts; that’s how I ended up cash negative and carless. Only
by understanding my genius could I see a path forward that was natural to me, as you will

Understanding the Four Geniuses!

As you will see in the tables that follow, each genius has a different way to reach
fulfillment. Each has a different way to manage time and money, grow a network, and lead
a team. Each genius has a winning and a losing formula, and your winning formula is
someone else’s losing formula. Each genius also features a frequency you are strongest in
and is part of a state of change, like the four seasons.

Of course, none of us is only one thing: We all have a little of each genius in us. But we all
have more of one than the others. Before you enter the Wealth Lighthouse, the first step to
setting yourself free is to truly understand where the compass of each of these geniuses
points and how they connect to each other.

The Key to Wealth is Flow!
!
Understanding your genius helps you find the right books and role models. It gives you
clarity on what to say yes and no to. Most important, in part 2 you will see your genius is
your path of least resistance to rise through the Wealth Lighthouse.

It allows you to find your flow—not in a month, or a year. Right now. Today.
!
All living systems flow. Our bodies naturally flow. Talent flows, products flow, information
flows. So does wealth, and when flow crosses flow, wealth grows. Just think of this in terms
of commerce: Ships were launched, lines of flow converged at ports on coasts and rivers,
and capital cities grew. When roads and rails connected those ports, flows crossed and
wealth grew. Today the world’s wealthiest people can be found where the greatest flow
intersects.

So what does flow have to do with your genius and success? Everything! When you know
your genius, you can get in your flow and then make that flow grow stronger. Think about
the times in your life when everything has felt like hard work: These were the moments
when you were focusing on your weaknesses and your losing formula. Think about the
times in your life when everything flowed with effortless ease: Here you were following
your natural genius and your winning formula. Now think about teaming up with geniuses
with strengths and winning formulas that balance your weaknesses and losing formula;

The Wealth Equation
!
WEALTH = VALUE x LEVERAGE
Imagine a river: Water flows where there is a height differential. Similarly, money flows
where there is a value differential, based on value exchange. Every day, trillions of dollars
of money flows naturally in this way.
!
Value controls the speed of money flow. It is the grade of the river. Value leads to leverage.
Leverage is the width and controls the volume of money flow. Between value and leverage
all great wealth creators control and grow flow. They create value, and they leverage it.
Delivering more value is what it feels like when you accelerate a car by putting your foot on
the gas. Leveraging your value is what it feels like when you shift up the gears, and at any
moment, you can increase your cash flow by creating new value or adding new leverage.

Are you stuck not earning enough right now? There are ways that you can deliver more
value, often by changing who you are delivering it to or whose value you are combining
with. Are you stuck with not enough time? There are ways that you can leverage your
value, letting you earn more with less time, often the same way great wealth creators do:
Work together with others to leverage each other’s value.

There are two opposites of value and two opposites of leverage. Too often, we follow a
