- Larry Simpson is a trainer with the State of Utah Division of Finance He leads the team that supports the statewide accounting and payroll systems as well as other Division of Finance systems. He designs and implements help systems, online training courses, and conducts instructor-led classes as well as publishing policies and procedures and other documents to the Division of Finance web site. Prior to working in the Division of Finance, Larry worked for 4 ½ years as an auditor with the Utah State Auditor’s Office. Larry earned a BS in accounting from the University of Utah in 1978. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Utah Larry is married to Gloria Wilder Simpson – they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
