3. The PYP exhibition has a number of key purposes:
* to be engaged in an in-depth, collaborative
inquiry
* to be independent and responsible for your own
learning
* to explore multiple perspectives
* to synthesize( make) and apply your learning of
previous years and to reflect upon your journey
through the PYP
* to take action as a result of your learning
* to be united with your teachers, parents and
other members of the school community in a
collaborative experience that incorporates the
essential elements of the PYP
* to celebrate your transition from primary to
middle/secondary education.
4. The exhibition should include the following:
*Examples of written work in a variety of formats and
styles: poetry, reports, persuasive texts
*Oral presentations, individually or in groups, to the
school community
*Uses of technology including ICT, working models,
designs, science experiments, for instance, the use of
digital images and videos, audio, digital portfolios,
websites, data projectors and commercially produced
publishing software.
*Performances or compositions in any medium: dance,
music, drama, visual arts, film, video, mixed media
5. You need to use many different skills to complete
this project.
