Module 3 Assignment 1
Now it’s time to show what you have learned about each of the Thirteen Colonies. You will
create a presentation in order to demonstrate your learning. You may use Slideshare (Directions
found at slideshare.net) or Prezi (Directions found at prezi.com), or another web 2.0 tool as pre-approved
by your teacher. You may also create audio for your presentation by downloading free
software from audacity. (Directions found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/.)
Task: In your presentation: 1. List the colonies in each grouping (New England, Middle, and
Southern). 2. Identify and explain fully at least 3 important attributes of each group of colonies.
It might be helpful to use the organizer below to list out the attributes that you want to discuss in
your presentation. Also in your presentation, explain the effects of (a) triangular trade, (b) the
Great Awakening, (c) Enlightenment thinking on the development of the colonial governments.
Your presentation must include 5 frames or information slides about each of the three groups of
colonies.
