3. Roles in Open Journal Systems
Roles
Journal OJS uses roles to organize activities and
Manager spaces within the the journal’s management
Editor and publishing website. For example, Section
Section Editors are only to view those submissions
Editor assigned to them by the Editor to oversee.
Subscription The users of the software can have more
Manager than one role (Journal Manager and Editor),
Additional while users can have the same roles (e.g., a
